Anak is a movie of the great actress Vilma Santos as the mother named Josie together
with Claudine Barretto as the daughter. The movie focuses on the relationship of a parent
and a child who comes across a trial which concerns misunderstanding due to
communication gaps between the daughter (Claudine) and the mother (Vilma). Its moral
lesson evolves around the understanding of how parents try to make a living for their
children. In Vilma’s role as a mother, she is facing moral dilemma wherein she have to
choose between two or more actions and have moral reasons for choosing each action.
Either to stay with her family but cannot be able to give the good life she wishes to give to
her children, or to go and work in other country to give the needs and wants of her family
specially on her daughters and son. Josie chose to work abroad even though it is so hard for
her to be away from them.

In Claudine Barretto’s role as a daughter, she involve herself to drugs, alcoholic drinks,
having different guys and engaging herself to different vices which her mom doesn’t like her
to be. As a daughter of an overseas worker, she put herself into rebellion because she felt
that she was being abandoned by her mother. She never knew what her mother’s situation
abroad. Josie experienced abuse while she is working. Her employer refuses to let her take a
vacation, nor does he deliver her mail to her from her family. She is unaware, therefore, that
her husband has died without being in the Philippines. The daughter never gave importance
and value to her mom’s sacrifices thus, she hated her.

When Josie finally returns to the Philippines she is met with resentment and hatred by
her children. The movie also studies how she overcomes these feelings and rebuilds the
relationship with her family especially her daughter. She did everything just to make her
children realize that she went abroad for their family.

The sacrifices one has to give in order for her children to have a better future and to
meet their needs. Especially in our country, Philippines, many have worked overseas hoping
to uplift their livelihood and to look for success. Children have to understand all their parent's
hardships and to work hard on their so that the parent who sacrificed would feel better
because they know that everything they did was worth it. At the child's growth, he/she may
start to look for deprived parental guidance and love due to their distance but we have to
understand that they were just doing everything just to make us happy and feel better. Both
have to realize these shortcomings and constant communication is a must to avoid these
gaps but in the story of Anak, the communication of Josie and her daughter is not persistent
because cellphones before were not that upgraded and updated unlike now. A parent will
always wish the best things for her children. Open communication is the solution. Never resort
to peers and distance is not a hindrance to show how you care for your children.

keep in contact with teachers on basically a 24/7 basis.

The internet is a valuable tool, and one that has undoubtedly become necessary for
children’s education. Parents often grant computer access to children in the same way and
with the same sense of security as when they let them watch television. There may even be
a greater sense of comfort, because there is an assumption that the computer is by its very
nature educational.

For me always have good manners and never knowingly post or forward information
that is not true and also if you have a comment to the post of someone else. Think before
you send it to prevent you from hurting other people's feelings.

Having technology is having a way to make our life more efficient. And yes we are
being independent. Yet, we can't deny the fact that most of us nowadays are being
influenced of an internet. Being an internet user, we are responsible to use it in a good way
and not to abuse it. Because being an internet user is also required of discipline, we should
be aware of what are the negative and the positive effects throughout the internet. By this,
we can be a responsible internet user but, not only on internet and also in our life.

As an internet user, we should be responsible enough on what we are going to do and

post on our social media accounts. What we post should be conforming and not harmful to
anyone especially when we have thoughts about someone who is not good on our look.
Instead of posting our rants on facebook, twitter, and on other accounts to gain agreements
and sympathy on the comment section that would possibly worsen the case, it would be
better if we confront them personally for us to settle it immediately. We, users, should not
share our personal and family problems on social media because it we can never gain the
solution of our problems. Other people may only comment and ask about the difficulties you
are experiencing but all they wanted is to know the information and to judge you
afterwards.

Of course, if we are involve on any social media accounts, it is impossible for us not to
post or give comments to anyone’s post. We should always remember that what we post
can be seen by many people because internet is for everyone and all the people were able
to access. We should avoid harmful and threatening words because it may cause us being
on harm. Yes, we can always share about our ideas and thought but we have to control it
for us to protect ourselves. If we notice, read or received something suspicious or any
message that is not good to you or to anyone, the best thing we can do is to report it to
military forces so that it would be investigated and given actions correctly.
Interview of Karen Davila to Manny Pacquiao

It is Senator Manny Pacquiao's interview on ANC's headstart with broadcaster Karen Davila. It's controversial. On February 22, 2019 ,
Sen. Manny Pacquiao was invited as a special guest. In an interview , Davila sought Pacquiao's opinion on proposals to require
senators and presidents to be college graduates. Then suddenly many nitizens are being affected and insulted on how Davila asked
question to Sen. Manny Pacquiao. Yet he was never offended by the manner of the broadcaster Karen Davila. He never hate and never
used his title as a politician/ boxer on that situation. Davila's question is normal as a broadcaster , yet some of her follow-up questions
is reallly unprofessional to hear, sounds like ; She don't respect Sen. Manny Pacquiao knowing that he's still studying and pursuing his
college degree. We can't blame the nitizen , because the way she asked ,is something really insulting. The boxer/ politician urged the
public to stop bashing the newscaster. Despite of grilling him, he still praised Davila's credentials as a newscaster . In this case, it
define Sen. Manny Pacquiao as a good hearted man, with a strong & patient heart and a god fearing leader.
Narrative Report of Everything We Have Learned From Ethics

All we remember and everything we have reviewed about the topics that we have learned from ma’am Mary
Cris Silos on our subject Ethics will be discussed.

Ethics talks about the behavior of a person. It is derived from the Greek word ethikos which itself is derived from
the Greek word ethos which means custom or character. Ethics is a branch of philosophy which generally talks about the
good things that we should pursue and the bad things that we should avoid, the right acts that we should and the wrong
ways of acting, and also about on what is acceptable and unacceptable in human behavior. Ethics also involves the
obligations that we are expected to fulfill, prohibitions that we are required to respect and ideals we are encourage to
meet.
