El Perú produce frutas y hortalizas que cumplen con las más altas exigencias de calidad en
cuanto a sabor, color, aroma y consistencia. Nuestra oferta incluye mangos, uvas de mesa,
paltas, cítricos, banano orgánico y aceitunas. Entre las hortalizas destacan los espárragos
verdes y blancos, procesados bajo estrictos estándares de calidad, al igual que alcachofas en
conserva, pimientos, páprika y una gran variedad de menestras y granos.

Por su ubicación geográfica, nuestro país puede ofrecer productos en contra estación y durante
todo el año. Asimismo, sus particulares condiciones climáticas, determinadas por la Cordillera
de los Andes, sus múltiples pisos ecológicos y las corrientes oceánicas, permiten la obtención
de cosechas que se distinguen por sus extraordinarias cualidades organolépticas.

Otra razón, no menos importante, es el compromiso de los productores con la calidad, reflejado
en la aplicación de tecnología de punta para otorgarle al consumidor las mayores garantías,
implementando buenas prácticas agrícolas y sistemas de aseguramiento de la inocuidad
alimentaria. Ello hace posible que nuestra oferta exportable cumpla los requerimientos de las
autoridades sanitarias y los consumidores de los principales mercados.

Peru produces fruits and vegetables that meet the highest quality requirements of the
international fresh produce markets: Flavor, color, consistency and aroma. Our exports
catalogue includes mangoes, table grapes, avocado, a variety of citrus fruits, organic banana
and black olives, among others. Among the vegetables, the stand-outs are white and green
asparagus, processed under high standards, as well as conserved artichoke, red pepper and
paprika, and a large variety of beans, peas, onions and grains.

Due to its geographic location, our country can produce in counter-season and throughout
the entire year. Likewise, its particular climatic conditions, determined by the presence of
the Andes, its multiple ecosystems and the ocean currents, allow the obtaining of crops of
extraordinary organoleptic properties.

Another reason, not least important, is the commitment of the Peruvian producers to quality,
which is reflected in their use of state-of-the-art technology and in the implementation of both
good practice and food security systems. As a result, our exports comply with the standards
required by the sanitary authorities and consumers in the main markets.
