 Resumen

“En la actualidad hablar de pavimento es muy necesario en el desarrollo de la

sociedad ya que por el incremento constante de los vehículos que circulan por dicha

vía influye en la aparición de las patologías, este más aun cuando no se han

considerado la tasa de crecimiento para el diseño de las diferentes capas del pavimento.

En la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinación y evaluación de las

patologías existen por el método del PCI para la determinación del estado actual de la

vía Mollepata KM 0+000 al KM 2+000. La metodología que se aplicó en la siguiente

investigación es de nivel no experimental, de tipo descriptivo y de enfoque cualitativo.

La población conformada por los pavimentos de la vía Mollepata de KM 0+000 hasta

KM 3+200, y la muestra se ha tomado los 02KMs. El muestreo obtendrá por métodos

estadísticos sistemáticos. Durante La investigación se ha encontrado distintas

patologías y severidades lo cual perjudican el transito continúo obligándolo a los

conductores reducir la velocidad y esquivar los baches que son notorias en el

pavimento, esto puede ser causante de accidentes inesperados. Se concluye que la

dicha vía tiene un PCI promedio obtenido es de 63.25, lo cual se encuentra en estado

bueno y en la fase de intervención. En la UM04 se puede observó que tiene un PCI

igual 34 clasificando con malo lo cual requiere una reconstrucción del pavimento.

Finalmente, se recomienda a las autoridades competentes hacer mantenimiento

periódico general.”

 Abstract

“At present, talking about pavement is very necessary in the development of

society because the constant increase of vehicles that circulate in this way influences

the appearance of pathologies, even more so when they have not considered the growth

rate for the design of the different layers of the pavement. In the present investigation,

the objective was to determine and evaluate the pathologies that exist by the PCI

method to determine the current state of the Mollepata route KM 0 + 000 to KM 2 +

000. The methodology that was applied in the following investigation is of a non-

experimental level, of a descriptive type and of a qualitative approach. The population

formed by the pavements of the Mollepata road from KM 0 + 000 to KM 3 + 200, and

the sample has been taken 02KMs. Sampling will be obtained by systematic statistical

methods. During the investigation different pathologies and severities have been found

which harm the traffic and continue to force the drivers to reduce speed and avoid the

bumps that are notorious on the pavement, this can cause unexpected accidents. It is

concluded that the said route has an average PCI obtained is 63.25, which is in good

condition and in the intervention phase. In UM04 it can be observed that it has an equal

PCI 34, classifying with bad which requires a reconstruction of the pavement. Finally,

the competent authorities are recommended to perform general periodic maintenance.”
