List of candidates being called for document verification cum admission for
Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry Programme 2019 at Mesra

Based on data provided in the application forms, following candidates are being called for
documents verification cum admission for the full-time Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry
programme at Mesra as per the schedule given below. The list is being placed only on the
Institute website and on the Notice Boards of the Institute at Mesra.

Admission offer will be made strictly on merit based on marks obtained by the candidates in
Class 12 / equivalent and various reservation criteria of State and Central Govt. till seats remain
available.

Date of counselling: 12th July 2019

Reporting time: 9:00 AM
(No candidates shall be permitted to appear in the counselling beyond the schedule time)
Venue: Room No. 211, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi - 835215

List of documents to carry at time of reporting for document verification cum admission:
At the time of reporting for document verification cum admission, candidates will be required to
show the originals of the following documents/ certificates and submit the College Leaving
Certificate, Migration Certificate & Caste certificate in original along with self-attested
photocopies of the all documents / certificates. Rest documents / certificates may be
withdrawn immediately after verification by submitting “Undertaking Form”.

1. A print-out of the duly completed online form (original copy)

2. One recent colour photograph [same as uploaded on the form]
3. Payment receipt towards application fee of Rs.1,500/- (General) and Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST)
candidates (non-refundable)
4. Original of the following documents / certificates:
a) Pass certificate of Class X (for age proof)
b) Marksheet of Class X
c) Marksheet of Class XII / Intermediate or equivalent
d) School Leaving Certificate
e) Migration Certificate
f) Caste certificate (if applicable), which should be in proper format and signed by
appropriate authority of rank not less than SDO.
g) Candidates belonging to other special categories (Persons with Disability [PwD] / Ward
of BIT Employee / Kashmiri Migrant) must provide photocopy of certificate in proper
format from appropriate authority.
h) Photo identification: (Driving license, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card,
School / College ID, are acceptable)

Total fees payable at the time of admission:

Provisionally selected candidates will be required to deposit an amount of Rs.89,500/- by
crossed demand draft in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Ranchi (for
detail, please see Institute website).

In addition to the above, students will also be required to deposit Hostel Caution Money*
(One Time only - Refundable) of Rs.5,000/- and suitable mess advance at the beginning of
each semester, which will be adjusted against their mess charges. For the July 2019
session, this mess advance* will be Rs. 20,000/- [Total of Rs.25,000/-].

*Hostel Caution Money (One Time only - Refundable) and Hostel Mess Advance (each
semester) are payable by crossed Demand Draft in favour of “BIT Welfare Society”
payable at Ranchi.

Admission fee (except Hostel Mess Advance) may also be paid online through State Bank
Collect [candidate may use the net banking or credit card payment through any nationalized
bank]. For details, please visit Institute website www.bitmesra.ac.in.

For fee refund rule, please see separate notice on Notice Board / Institute website.

Registration will be done on 15th July 2019. Regular classes will commence from
16th July 2019.

Note: Admission is subject to fulfillment of the eligibility conditions [as mentioned in the
admission notification], verification and submission of original documents / certificates at
the time of admission.
