TCU (Unidad de Control de Tráfico)
TCU Resumen
El Nodo de Transporte de Sitio (Site Transport Node =STN) es un nodo en el Sistema de Estacion Base
(Base Station System =BSS), este es su nombre logico TCU, que maneja y prove interface entre la RBS
(GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, LTE, solo o multi-standard, transmision o 3ra parte del equipo), y redes de transporte
IP/Ethernet over IP o IP sobre E1/T1
La TCU 02 (Unidad de Conectividad de Transporte=Transport Connectivity Unit) es un componente en la

familia de productos RBS 6000 y esta diseñada primordialmente parab soportar Multi Estandares de RBS con
funcionalidad de transporte avanzada.

Que es lo que hace la TCU?
En la dirección downlink , STN desempaca los paquetes IP recibidos en la interface Ethernet. El contenido
de paquetes LAPD son enviados a la BTS usando el super canal.
En la dirección uplink, las tramas LAPD desde la BTSson recibidas en el super canal en formato LAPD. Las
tramas LAPD desde el super canal son ordenados de acuerdo al trafico. La configuración de tipos de tráfico
está dado por el operador y son ensamblados juntos para ser enviados por un solo tipo de trafico como
paquetes IP y enviados a la BSC/PGW.

La Característica Abis sobre IP hace posible para los operadores usen una estructura IP para la transmisión
se señales y carga útil (información de usuarios) entre BSC y BTS.
El Packet Gateway, PGW, usa una terminal IP en el lado de la BSC. En el otro lado de la BTS, la terminal IP
usa el Nodo de Sitio de Transporte (Site Transport Node) para RBSs, concido como STN.
Entre la Red IP y la PGW en la BSC y el STN en la BTS se usa IPv4.
Para Abis sobre IP, el concepto SC es solo un modelo en la PGW, el super canal real solo existe entre el STN
y la BTS. El enlace PCM entero constituye un super canal. Similarmente las rutas digitales, son cuatro SCs
con tamaño fijo de 31 timeslots posibles para ser usados por la TG. Esta relación fija existe entre TRXs y SCs,
un TRX no puede transmitir sobre diferentes SCs. Las SCs van de un TG a un grupo de super canal (Super
Channel Group=SCGR).
Usando transporte IP en la interface Abis, el operador puede sustancialmente bajart los costos de operación y
mantenimiento de redes de transporte. También las Redes IP tienen más costos efectivos de transmisión
comparados con transmisión a base de E1/T1.
El PGW maneja las conversaciones, GPRS/EGPRS y la señalización en una sola pieza de hardware. La PGW
puede manejar un mix de IP basado en transmisión Abis y transmisión Abis basado en E1/T1. Cada TG puede
solo usar un tipo de modo de transmisión.
Soporta manejo de QoS, que es possible para diferentes codigos de diferentes traficos.
LA BSC soporta hasta 64 PGW RPs.
El cantidad de tráfico que puede manejar un PGW depende de la configuración de las redes y la carga de
tráfico. Un PGW puede soportar hasta 127 TRXs y hasta 500 Erlang con carga de trafico de acuerdo al
modelo de tráfico.
Sitios en cascada no son soportados.

Configuracion TCU
Resetting Configuration
To reset the STN configuration to default values, do the following:
 Command: resettofactorysetting
This command resets the TCU to default factory setting. MIB content is erased and persistent data including
security and synchronization data is cleared. Software archives are not affected by this command.
The STN restart takes a few minutes.

1.- CONFIGURAR TARJETA DE RED DE LA PC USADA:

2.- HACER CORRER EL PROGRAMA FTP MINI sftp-server, activándolo en “START”
User: tcu
Password: tcu **** el password no se verá en la pantalla

La TCU 02 (Unidad de Conectividad de Transporte=Transport Connectivity Unit) es un componente en la

HARDWARE TCU 0201 – GA Diciembre 2011

Capacidad optimizada para MSR e integración con todas RBSs 6000.

Entre la Red IP y la PGW en la BSC y el STN en la BTS se usa IPv4.

LA BSC soporta hasta 64 PGW RPs.

Sitios en cascada no son soportados.
