1. How can the lack of competencies of communicators and journalist risk the delivery of
their roles and function?

Answer:

Mass media are the most prominent information channel related to risk communication for the
general public. They are used by different stakeholders and play the role of a “watchdog” of a society.
However, they also have to fulfill the economic aspects of publishing or broadcasting, with “‘If it
bleeds, it leads’” being a well-known phenomenon in journalism. Moreover, mass media and
journalism play a progressively more important role in contemporary crisis situations. They help
create, shape and terminate a crisis.

Journalists do not only report about the reality, they also influence it. Communication scholars point
out that journalists have an active role to play in reporting about an event (crisis). They represent,
interpret, and construct it and the related political and public salience of various issues is partly driven
by the media coverage. Research has shown that when media increase their attention to a given issue,
the political elites jump on the bandwagon by stating their opinion, asking parliamentary questions,
tabling law proposals.

1. Differentiate human act and act of man?

Answer: Humans act are actions done intentionally, free, and deliberate person. this actions that
man properly master for he does them with full knowledge and of his own will. While the Act of
man are instinctive, such as psychological in nature. These are actions done under the
circumstances of ignorance, passion, fear, violence and habit.

2. Give examples of the two?

Answer:

Human act Example: doing things with a reason.

Act of man Example: children or innate persons.

MY CONCEPT OF FREEDOM

For me freedom is you are free to do whatever you want. Leave where we want, eat what we want,
learn what we want, and to choose what we want. Although we have a freedom but always
remember our limitation because there many individual has abusing their freedom. always think the
way you talk, the way you do your action. Because sometimes you are hurting other people without
knowing. After all, how can we live freely Without hurting others feeling? in my opinion We can live
freely in this world by respecting others right to live better in this world.
