STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in
school” - Albert Einstein.

Necessity is the mother of invention. People try to achieve something wholeheartedly only
when it is truly necessary for them. Necessity instils passion for achieving one’s goals. Any work
that is done passionately is bound to have positive outcome. I am of the opinion that whenever
I learn something, it must give an inspiration. One of the ways to achieve the above is to solve
any situation or instance in life to the possible extent we can. This was the simple concept I was
following from the moment I felt its purpose. We all know Greek proverb which says
“Necessities, the inventor of all goodness”.

I did my schooling from siddartha High School which is one of the renowned schools in the city.
Being part of the Board of Secondary Education, I had to visualize and understand important
concepts, and the efforts I invested in learning helped me score 73 percentage. After completing
my schooling , I chose Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as my major subjects at pre-
university level. I passed it with 93.5% and stood among top 4% of around 2,50,000 students.
The two years of my intermediate education, flew away quickly, finally landing me in
VAGDEVI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE (Affiliated to JNTU University)
for a solid foundation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, after participating in a
competitive examination called EAMCET that's held thought-out Andhra Pradesh, I was placed
in the top 10% of four lakh who took engineering entrance examination.

My interaction with computers during my school days were astonishing which led me to world
of creative intelligence handling with my curiosity and learned basics about computers. There
was something about programming and computers that always attracted my interest. When I first
time unlocked my mobile Bootloader and rooted it. It was just out of curiosity but left me with
full of surprises how I can tweak with small programming skills, I got total control over the
mobile, I can add some cool features to it without limits and restrictions, what I feel is a sense of
marvel. Here are innovations that not only keep evolving technically but also have infinite scope
for logic and creativity.
Due to the exposure towards practical world of technology during my under graduation life had
a great impression on me which actually made me define my future goals. During my
undergraduate study , I have done many academic and independent courses which have
nurtured my interest in this field of Software Development and computer science. Beginning
with basic level courses on Data Structures and algorithms and followed by the intermediate
courses on C, C++ and Java programming, I was deeply interested in the field of Software
Development and Machine Learning.Coding has always amused me and seeing my own code
run successfully gives me a sense of utmost exhilaration.

I also believe that taking active participation in activities outside academics, which would instil
much needed soft skills in person. Being one of the active member of our department technical
club , I have volunteered and organized events and workshops in my college, which improved
my management and leadership skills. I’ve also actively participated in many events and
workshops conducted in our college.
I can state with conviction that, pursuing Masters in a country like USA, would inculcate critical
life skills in a person. It provides greater exposure to diverse cultures and gives an opportunity to
collaborate with the brightest minds across the globe. It provides world class education with
ample opportunities, to learn and explore.

Education in USA is highly recognized. For Computer Science and Technology USA is ahead of
any other nation in the world. Apart from this, most of the world renowned universities in the
world are located in USA. When you are in America, you get to see the world as universities
have students from as many as 100 plus countries depending on their size. USA has been
assigned highest index for education by the United Nations, which enhances its reputation. All
these factors together make it the favorable and ideal destination to pursue Masters
