Digital ELLN is one of the interesting lessons that need to discuss in order
for the teacher to learn new things especially when it comes to the learner. The

teachers from Kinder to Grade 3 of Bolitoc Elementary School Annex conducted


Learning Action Cell Sessions on ELLN Module last June 14, 2019.
It started with the singing of national anthem, followed by giving praises
to our Almighty God and roll call. Mrs. Genalin M. Mon, coordinator of ELLN
started the session with the introduction and background information about
Digital ELLN. The history and briefing about what would happen in the sessions
from the start up to the end. She also discussed that every session, all
participants are expected to perform all the activities and assignments because
there must an outcome and reports to comply.
In Module 1 Lesson 1 Mrs. Angelita dela Cruz, teacher III discussed on the
k-3 Learner in the Context of K-12. She gave us informative lecture which made
us clearer understanding on how young children learn how to read and a
developmental and literacy accomplishment. Sharing of ideas about the topic is
one of the best parts of the lesson.

Objective:
To know the different domains of literacy in the K-12 Language and
Literacy Curriculum.

Time/Venue: 1:30 in the afternoon at Bolitoc Elementary School Annex

School – based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) of Bolitoc Elementary


School Annex is consistent with the procedures of the School Based
Management (SBM), and the School Improvement Plan (SIP), but this is
more focus on the teaching – learning process. It is a venue for continues
and effective in service training for teachers’ development.
The said activity was participated by 4 teachers and 1 school
head who actively attended and involved themselves to acquire
significant inputs and learnings relative to their instructional functions and
professional development.
The second week LAC sessions is focus on “The Domains of
Literacy: What do we teach?”. The topic was discussed by Mrs. Genalin M.
Mon. She discussed the domains of literacy that we are tasked to
develop in the grade level that we teach. As the discussion flows
smoothly, they listened and watched the Video Clips of different Domains.
The teachers get into their small groups and take turns sharing their
assignment outputs.
