MARCO CONCEPTUAL
I speak Hablo
We speak Hablamos
I live Vivo
We live Vivimos
He / She /
No habla
It doesn't speak
Preguntas
Do I speak? ¿Hablo?
Do we speak? ¿Hablamos?
Do I live? ¿Vivo?
Do we live? ¿Vivimos?
diferente?:
9
El verbo "be"
10
USO
In 1969 two computers talked to each other across a telephone line. The television
was invented many years ago.
FORMA

14
You will be flying to Paris tomorrow at this hour / Mañana a esta hora estarás volando
hacia Paris.
They will have written the novel by next month / Ellos habrán escrito la novela el próximo
mes.
Su estructura es la siguiente:
sujeto + futuro de 'to have' + participio
15
INTERROGATIVO-NEGATIVA:
Shall I not have played? / ¿No habré jugado?
Next year I shall have been studying ten years / El año próximo llevaré diez años
estudiando.
Are you going to take the car tonight? / ¿Vas a coger el coche esta noche?
Con 'to be' + infinitivo, para indicar lo que está programado para el futuro
The president is to meet the congressmen tomorrow / El presidente se reunirá con
los congresistas mañana
Con 'to have to' (tener que)
I have to go to the dentist / Tengo que ir al dentista

Although there are many very different technologies from each other, it is common to use
the term singular technology to refer to all of them, or also to one of them. The word
technology can also refer to the theoretical discipline that studies knowledge common to
all technologies, and in some contexts, to technological education, to school discipline
aimed at familiarization with the most important technologies.
Technological activity influences social and economic progress, but if its application is
merely commercial, it can be oriented to satisfy the wishes of the most prosperous and
not to meet the essential needs of the most necessary. This approach can encourage
unsustainable use of the environment. Certain human technologies, due to their intensive,
direct or indirect use, of the biosphere, are the main cause of the increasing depletion and
degradation of the planet's natural resources.
However, technology can also be used to protect the environment, seek innovative and
efficient solutions to solve the sustainable way of the growing needs of society, without
causing depletion or degradation of the material and energy resources of the planet or
increase social inequalities. Certain human technologies have led to a huge advance in
the problems and quality of life of miles of millions of people on the planet, automatically
achieving better environmental conservation.
economic progress of the towns and about the environment where the industrial activity
is manifested.
4.2.-Invention of artifacts
Although with large variants of detail according to the object, its principle of operation and
the materials used in its construction, the following are the common stages in the invention
of a novel artifact:
Identification of the practical problem to be solved: During this, both the intrinsic
characteristics of the problem, as well as the external factors that determine or
condition it must be well defined. The result must be expressed as a function whose
minimum expression is the transition, carried out by the artifact, from an initial state to
an final state. For example, in water desalination technology, the initial state is salt
water, in its natural state, the end is that same water but already potable water, and
the device is a desalination plant. One of the critical characteristics is the concentration
of water salt, very different, for example, in the ocean water of open seas than in inland
seas such as the Dead Sea. External factors are, for example, the maximum and
minimum water temperatures at different stations and the energy sources available for
the operation of the desalination plant.
Working principle: Frequently there are several different ways to solve the same
problem, more or less appropriate to the natural or social environment. In the case of
desalination, the freezing procedure is especially suitable for Arctic regions, while
reverse osmosis is for cities in tropical regions with wide availability of electric power.
The invention of a new operating principle is one of the crucial characteristics of
technological innovation. The choice of the operating principle, whether known or
19
specifically invented, is the indispensable requirement for the next stage, the design,
which precedes the construction.
Artifact design: While in artisanal manufacturing it is usual to skip this stage and go
directly to the next stage of building a prototype (trial and error method), but the design
is a mandatory phase in all manufacturing processes industrial. The design is typically
carried out using formalized knowledge such as those of some branch of engineering,
making mathematical calculations, drawing plans of various types, using diagramming,
choosing materials of appropriate properties or making tests when unknown, making
the shape of the materials compatible with the function to be fulfilled, breaking down
the device into parts that facilitate both the fulfillment of the function and the
manufacture and assembly, etc.
Simulation or construction of a prototype: If the manufacturing cost of a prototype is
not excessively high (where the cap is probably the case of a new car model), its
manufacture allows detecting and solving problems not foreseen at the design stage.
When the cost is prohibitive, for example, the development of a new type of aircraft,
complex computer simulation and numerical modeling programs or mathematical
modeling are used, where a simple case is the determination of aerodynamic
characteristics using a scale model in a wind tunne.

5.- CONCLUSIONES
