This Service manual
This service manual is a summary of the most basic More detailed instructions are also available in the
types of repairs a technician can perform on the repair manual. Both supplement the instructions for
operating table even without special training. use for the mobilis 200/300 and the mobilis RC. The
instructions for use must be observed.
In the event of repairs not performed , damaged
parts may only be replaced with new parts. Repairs to
damaged parts lead to exclusion of liability!

Symbols used in the text

The following designations and/or symbols are used
in this service manual to identify information of special NOTICE
importance:
"NOTICE" refers to information not relating to
personal injury, e.g. information relating to damage to
DANGER! property.
"DANGER" refers to a hazardous situation which could
result in serious injury or death if it is not avoided.
Serious injuries are irreversible injuries requiring RECOMMENDATION
permanent and recurring medical care.
Used to identify information relating to the lifespan or
improved functioning of the device.
WARNING!
"WARNING" refers to a hazardous situation which
could result in moderate to serious injury if it is not A triangle before the text means:
avoided. This includes reversible injuries requiring  Execute this work step.
care or examination by a medical professional.  Execute this sub-work step.

A dot before the text means:

CAUTION!
• This is part of an itemisation.
"CAUTION" refers to a hazardous situation which
could result in slight to moderate injury if it is not
avoided. This includes reversible injuries not requiring
medical care. Numbers in figures
A number in a circle indicates the item
number of the designated spare part in the
legend below the figure.

A combination of numbers contained

within a rectangle in an illustration indi-
cates the item number of the designated
spare part in the spare parts list.

Device states and actions required
This chapter describes repairs relating to a defined
repair result.

What type of errors can the operating table exhibit?

Mechanical/hydraulic:
• The brake no longer provides braking action. Page 4
• The laminated panel is damaged.

Page 59

No brake function
 Lift column cladding (see „Lift the column cladding“
on page 15).

Fig. 1

4 Serviceanleitung - Edition 2015-2-26 DEU Id.-Nr. 2035537

 Lift off moulded bottom cover (see „Remove
moulded bottom cover“ on page 10).

Fig. 2
 Check all double casters for ruptured housing.
 Replace defective double casters (see „Replace
double caster“ on page 36). Pay attention to
electrical conductivity: a conductive double caster
(can be recognised by the yellow housing ring) may
not be replaced by a non-conductive double caster.

Fig. 3
 After replacing double casters manufactured prior
to June 2011 with double casters produced more
recently, the directional caster (if present) must be
height-adjusted (see „“ on page 118).

Fig. 4
 Check wheel cover.
 Replace damaged wheel cover (see „Replace
double caster“ on page 36).

CAUTION!
Risk of injury! Broken edges on the wheel cover may
be sharp and cause cuts.

onal shaft at the foot end, and check the braking
function of the casters at the foot end. If the brakes
are not functioning: replace defective double caster
(see „Replace double caster“ on page 36).
 If braking function continues to be inadequate:
Please contact Service (see „Contact data“ on page
68).
 Assembly: Proceed in the reverse order.
