Prepare the'dough with 1-2/3 cups (400 mi) of tap water in a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon, (5 mi) sale and slowly add 10 ~ 12 02. (280 to 320 g) of corn mesl powder, knead until smooth and firm. 2. Open the OsrEr® Fasy Size Areva by lifting up on the lock. 3. Clean the cooking plaves with 2 dampened cloth. Wipe dry and condition ‘with a light coating of oil, butter or margarine 4, Plug into outlet, Use only voltage specified on the bottom of the unit. The red light will go on. In order to start warming the OsteR” Fasaty Sizé AnEPA, turn the roast control dial and wait for 8 minutes befoze beginning to use 5. Have the dough ready: using the palms of your hands, roll portions of dough, then press the dough gently into approximately Linch thick x 3-inch wide round shapes and place one (1) in each non-stick cavity. DO NOT TOUCH THE COOKING PLATE WHEN YOU PLACE THE DOUGH ONTO THE CAVITY! Close the lid and turn the toast control dial. For a second batch of Arepa immediately, put aside the cooked Azepas, turn the coast control dial to avoid cooling down the plates and place the dough in the cavities. 6. In approximately 7 ~ 20 minutes (depending on desired result), you will be able to enjoy 6 delicious Arepas. However, if you prefer darker brown arepas, you can leave them in the OsTER” FAMILY Size AREA for a few minutes longer. Please note that “Ready” indicator light will come on when dial is turned clockwise and ‘unit is heating. Please follow pre-heating directions in instruction manual as unit requires approximately 8 minutes to pre-heat prior to use after it is turned on. Both red and green lights will be illuminated, Care AND CLEANING 1. Clean the cooking plates with a soft cloth dampened with warm water 2. Ifyou wish to clean food residue stuck to the cooking plates, use a soft cloth with oil while the plates are ell warm. 3. Itis important to remember that cleaning the appliance with abrasive cleansers such as steel wool pads, scrubbing poveders, bleach, ete, can damage the housing land the cooking plates of your Osrex® FAMILY SIZE AREPA. 4, Wrap cord around unit after it has cooled and secure it with a twist tie. 5.
