8.5 in. (215.9 mm) AT507X

Talon™ PDC Drill Bits Speci cally designed as a system to be run on
AutoTrak Curve rotary steerable systems to increase drilling ef ciency by
achieving planned Build Up Rates while maximizing ROP, minimizing
vibrations, eliminating trips, and reducing days on well.
DART Approved The experienced Drilling Application Review Team (DART)
carefully analyze the application to propose the right solution for your
needs. The Network Behind the Solution.
Polished Cutters Baker Hughes patented polished cutters improve drilling
ef ciency by reducing balling. Polishing eliminates buildup on the cutter
face, enhancing cutting action and cuttings removal from the face of the bit.
The industry's only polished cutters.
Optimized Hydraulic Ef ciency Optimized Hydraulic Ef ciency Optimized
junk slot geometries, face volumes and increased blade standoff provide
hydraulic ef ciency in low-HSI applications. Use of newly advanced
Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) techniques ensure ow eld in each
junk slot, maximizing cuttings evacuation and minimizing bit balling and
nozzle plugging.

Operating Recommendations*
Hydraulic ow rate: 300-750 gpm (1150-2850 lpm). Rotation Speed: For Rotary and Motor Applications. Max. Weight On Bit: 35 klb (15 tn or kdaN).

* The ranges of bit weight, RPM and max gpm shown is representative of typical operating parameters, but will not necessarily yield optimum bit life or lowest drilling cost. It is not recommended that the upper limits of both weight and RPM be run
simultaneously.Contact your local Baker Hughes representative for recommendations in your area.
** Recommend solids content of uid to be approximately 3% or less
