SUMMARY
This seminar presents volatile coal compounds . The volatile compounds present in coal
combustion are aromatic and polycyclic hydrocarbons ( PAH ) , benzene , toluene,
xylene (BTX ) and polychlorinated dibenzodioxin / furans ( PCDD / F).
The emission results from incomplete combustion and pyrolysis process allowing free
radicals react and the formation of these compounds . the organic compound have
increased considerably in the last , the concentration of polycyclic hydrocarbons have
an aromatic high degree of genotoxicity and carcinogenic effects , there is a concern
about the possible effects on health.
