Many International markets are now extremely competitive due to the liberalization of the world

CRITICAL ANALYSIS
The internship at Littlewood Corporation l has added much to my knowledge. In this report I
have written introduction of Littlewood Corporation. Where then I have written vision, mission,
adopted by the industry. I have also done the critical analysis of Littlewood Corporation.
According to my knowledge following factors have disturbed the functionality of the
organization.
POLITICAL FACTORS
It is fact all government agencies and influential groups that somewhat influence
various organizations and individuals in a given society are included among political factors.
Present change in the political scenario can definitely be favorable for economy of the next
financial year .
It is also duty of the government to take care of Leather sector and make good policies for this
sector for the exports and imports.
ECONOMIC FACTORS
The products of Littlewood Corporation have positive image in local and international market
.The economic environment consists of factors that reflect their customers purchasing power. So,
before entering the international markets, the Littlewood Corporation must consider the changes
in major economic variables such as income, interest rates and savings.
21
SOCIAL FACTORS
The cultural and social environment is made up of institutions and other forces that affect a
society’s basic values, perceptions and preferences and behaviors. People grow up in a particular
society that shapes their basic beliefs and values.
This is the policy of Littlewood Corporation that the products for exports are designed according
to the values of their international customers.
TECHNOLOGICAL FACTORS
Being in the leather sector, Littlewood Corporation has great financial resources and they are
always in a position to install the latest and advanced machinery in their production department.
With the help of modern technologies they are in position to produce new products.
They started business at very small level footballs and gloves. But the business of football was
not so good but they earned profit in business of gloves at local level then they attend exhibitions
and trade fair through these activities Malik Naeem got innovative ideas an d now their firm is
one of the best firm which exports motorbike/protection apparel. They also do their work for
different brands

Future planning to lead the upcoming market:
The future strategy to lead the market is that they provide quality product to the customers and
trying to satisfying them by providing them the perfect products that they order they should no
change in pattern, jet, chip, quality and size and design, graphics.
SWOT ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS
• Specialized in production
• Loyal customers
WEAKNESSES
• High prices.
23
OPPORTUNITIES
THREATS
ORGANIZATIONAL ANALYSIS:
The factor affect the decision making of any organization is up and downs in the value of dollar.
When the value of the dollar increases the firm earns profit they already have stocks in their
warehouse and use this stock and manufacture the goods through that stock and provide that
material to the customer and receive the committed rates but when the value of dollar decreases
they face many problems. For instance, the organization committed the customer to provide his
products on March’2 and the value of dollar decreases on February ’23 then the firm faces a loss
because they have to pay extra shipment charges due to decrease in the value of dollar. And the
other major problem that effects the organization’s decision making is unqualified lower staff
when the lower staff of the firm is unqualified the top and middle management cannot pay
attention on their advices. So sometimes due to these situations the export and profit of the
company is badly affected.
24
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Whenever the firm make the strategies to minimize the cost first of all they focus on the price of
raw material if they purchase the raw material in bulk then they have to bear less cost and
whenever they install a machinery they must keep in mind that if they use the labor instead of
machinery then how much cost they can save? Whenever they select the labor they must keep in
mind that they are skilled and qualified according to the nature of their job. These strategies are
made to minimize the cost of the firm. And to maximize the profit, they make the policies to
provide best quality products the customers at affordable rates
25
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
I got to learn many things. I learnt how to work in pressure and concentrate on the assignments
given to me by the seniors. The reason, I am saying that I have worked under pressure was that I
had to collect the data related to Board of Governors meeting form different departments. I had
to be on my toes continuously and get the update from different departments about the required
documents.
I also learnt to deal with the people of different natures and attitudes.
I also learnt to be patient as I was kept waiting for so long in one of the departments and got
nothing at the end of the day. It was the time when I had to control the irritation that I had after
waiting for so long. The assistant director told me to stay calm and he said that the professional
life is full of such things and people sometimes do things to irritate you. So be patient if you
want to be successful. I acted on his advice as he was right.
