00____ - 2018 - COR of the committee on rules as a result of the
committee hearing conducted last July 24, 2018. There is
only one item included in the said report your honor with
corresponding recommendation. Your honor majority of
members of the committee have affixed their signature. Thus,
may i respectfully move for the adoption of the said committee
report. (WAIT FOR THE ADOPTION).

THE COMMITTEE REPORT is A PROPOSED ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7THCC-16, AN ORDINANCE
CREATING THE LOCAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION
MANAGEMENT OFFICE.

Your honor, during the scheduled hearing, it was thoroughly

discussed the merits of amending the subject ordinance. The
proposed legislative measure is in line with the City
Government’s commitment in ensuring our readiness to any
disaster whether it is natural or man-made.

 That being said your honor, the committee sees no problem
as to the passage of the said proposed ordinance. If there are
additional queries your honors, we have here the presence of
