MOTIVATIONAL ESSAY

My name is Nitu M. Daniel-Alin and I just graduated from “Mihai Eminescu”

National College in Bucharest, math and sciences track.
I found out about the educational offer of ASE from my high-school colleagues who
are currently studying at this university, and my sister who graduated from Economic
Informatics Faculty. The information provided played a crucial role in my personal choice
and, simultaneously, determined me to check out the official website of the academy for
further details.
The fact that I chose this university is not at random as I am personally interested in
the studying fields provided by ASE, especially in the Undergraduate Program in Economic
Informatics. My mother, who is working as an accountant, has always been a role model for
me, influencing my career choice and boosting my passion for the field of economics.
Moreover, informatics and cybernetics, represent two of the most recent and successful fields
that can ensure the individual financial prosperity and professional fulfillment. I decided that,
with the help given to me by highly qualified teachers and by some special courses, ASE
would be the only university that could guide my steps towards my personal objective.
My expectations regarding the educational process are acquiring enough knowledge
and abilities for me to be able to pursue a successful career in the economics field. To what
concerns me getting a part-time job during my studies, I believe that the experience cumulated
will be beneficial for not only my future career but also for my personal development.
I wish to continue the studies in this university, after getting my bachelor’s degree, by
following the courses of a master’s program.
During high-school I’ve participated in various volunteering programs such as
PROEDUS, in which I was assigned different tasks (helping with the planning of the Sports
Festival or Visual Art- Underval) or communicating with foreigners through the (Tourism
Fair). I was also assigned the task of being a Group Coordinator for PROEDUS, being in
charge of the minors participating in the Worthy Students Camp. Simultaneously, I involved
into other volunteering programs such as GreenRevolution, where I helped the team organize
the Bike Fest event in 2018.
Taking into consideration my past experience in this kind of activities, I would like to
continue in the same manner by getting involved in internships for companies like Ubisoft or
other volunteering organizations such as AIESEC for my own personal development.
I consider that a career in economics suits me best due to the fact that I’m permanently
willing to acquire new notions, I learn very quickly, I am very serious and always open to
socializing.
