1. Introduction:

Azure-S is a sintered alumina abrasive. It is manufactured by our patented1 state-of-the-art sol-

gel technology. Sintered alumina abrasive is a well known for its high performance and unique
fracture characteristic. It performs better in high pressure grinding application and also
withstands severe application condition. It also provides cooler cutting and longer life of the
wheel. All these parameters make it as a unique choice for abrasive manufacturers.

8. Size

Azures is available for both bonded and coated application. Grits size is as per current FEPA
standard i.e., for bonded 42-1&2: 2006 and coated 43-1&2:2006. Grits are available from 16 to 220.

9. Bulk Density2

Bulk density (BD) is measure as per FEPA standard 44-1: 2006. Grit wise bulk density is indicated
in table.

10. Packaging

AzureS is packed in flexible, non-breakable plastic container. Containers are

clearly labeled and sealed. Standard packing is available in 25kg container.
