Plan de trabajo
Se comprende de tres módulos compuestos de diversos apartados que abordan desde los
aspectos más generales en el tema de las adicciones hasta las habilidades específicas que se
requieren para brindar capacitación sobre consejo, intervención y tratamiento en adicciones. El
módulo de Conceptos básicos en Adicciones aborda definiciones, neurobiología, clasificación de
drogas, efectos, modelos, teorías, criterios diagnósticos y comorbilidad, asociados al consumo de
sustancias psicoactivas. Los dos módulos restantes se concentran en lograr el desarrollo de
habilidades para impartir capacitación sobre las estrategias para lograr la reducción o suspensión
del consumo de sustancias.
Es recomendable que revise y estudie los tres módulos, pues eso le ayudará a fortalecer, primero
las bases teóricas y conceptuales con las que ya cuenta y, posteriormente, desarrollar habilidades
prácticas.
Dado que la mayor parte de las actividades de este curso son de carácter autogestivo, la función
del asesor en línea será monitorear el avance de los participantes, supervisar y retroalimentar la
ejecución de las mismas, siempre que se requiera, así como resolver las dudas que surjan a los
profesionales de la salud.
Materiales/recursos disponibles
El contenido del curso se apoya en imágenes, diapositivas, audios, videos, cuestionarios, foros,
ejercicios y actividades de aprendizaje que muestran a un modelo ejecutando las habilidades
revisadas, con el objetivo de que pueda distinguir qué conductas específicas debe realizar para
llevar a cabo una capacitación de manera exitosa.
Tipos de actividades
En el transcurso de cada módulo podrá encontrar ejercicios de reforzamiento de los temas con
materiales descargables para su repaso. Al final de cada uno de los módulos encontrará
actividades de aprendizaje que tienen el objetivo de reforzar los contenidos aprendidos así como

ejercitar las competencias desarrolladas; éstas cuentan con valor para la calificación final de cada
módulo.
Este curso de tres módulos está considerado para realizarse en un total aproximado de 40 horas,
10 para el primer módulo, 15 para el segundo y 15 para el tercero. Se sugiere invertir al menos
dos horas diarias a la revisión de los temas para lograr adquirir las habilidades y competencias
requeridas para capacitar a otros.
Criterios de acreditación
Es recomendable que el participante estudie todos los módulos del curso, pues eso le ayudará a
fortalecer, primero, las bases teóricas y conceptuales necesarias para realizar los ejercicios
establecidos en cada uno de los módulos.
Las actividades de aprendizaje de cada módulo tienen un valor para acreditar los mismos y deben
acreditarse con una calificación mínima de 8.

Intervención Breve
Antes de iniciar con el contenido de los módulos, así como al finalizar los mismos, encontrará una
evaluación que deberá realizar para identificar, revisar y observar los conocimientos y
procedimientos que los profesionales de la salud adquieran a partir del estudio de los contenidos a
estudiar en los distintos módulos de este curso. Es importante mencionar que estas evaluaciones
no tendrán ningún valor para la calificación y, por lo tanto, no se consideran como un criterio de
acreditación.
