companies with high expertise in conveyor belt maintenance and engineering .The fact that some

 SAFETY COMMITMENT

Absolute priority is given to safety at PT.Unibelt Inti Perkasa. We have developed strictly
followed processes for ensuring that our excellent job safety record remains intact.

Prior to any work commencing, jobs are subjected to a Job Safety Analysis procedure. This
identifies any potential hazards and enables assigned staff to take the necessary
precautions. Client sign-off on the Job Safety Analysis endorses the integrity of the safety
and risk assessment procedure.

PT.Unibelt Inti Perkasa employs a fulltime Occupational Health and Safety Manager
whose role includes regular assessment of work procedures and regular and appropriate
training of all staff in safe work practices.

Training of all staff in key competencies also actively promotes safety, as each person is
fully conversant with the nature of the work that they are undertaking, and understands the
safe work practices necessary to deliver that outcome. Regular consultation with employees
provides important feedback to the safety manager who can then fine-tune SWI's in line
with the demands of specific tasks.

2.3 External Support.

Additional technical expertise, and field support is provided by Experienced
belt technician .

3. Belt Inspection service .

The following framework outlines our basic belt inspection service that to be
tailored for your company.

Purpose of Inspections:
a) To prevent trouble and ensure safety.
b) To identify cause of trouble and take appropriate countermeasures.
c) To determine service-life and establish repair standards

3.1 Scope of Belt monitoring Services;

Our team conduct inspections for conveyor belt lines on daily basis.
(1) Daily routine inspection of All conveyor belts at the Company’s facilities.
(2) Immediately reporting to the Company upon all anomalies found during
inspection and propose the Company for any recommended repair
strategy.
(3) Immediately reporting of conveyor belts having critical damage condition
and recommend immediate repair action.
(4) Set Up reporting system of Belt Condition Monitoring.
(5) Recommended replacement of Conveyor Belts.
(6) Assist in Conveyor belt replacement.
(7) To use the standardized PT.Unibelt Inti Perkasa inspection check sheet.
(8) Monitoring and set up recording of all activities related to conveyor belts.
(9) Coordinate with Maintenance Planning for efficient recordings of activities
related to conveyor belt maintenance.
(10)Monitoring belt splice condition.
(11)Monitoring Pulley Condition.
(12)To submit weekly and monthly inspection report.
(13)To share the history of the belt line conditions.
 Method.

3.1.1 Initial technical audit

Technical audit will be performed to establish the existing condition of each

conveyor belt line. The main objective is to help in recording the conditions of each
conveyor belt line at the time of commencement of annual inspection contract and to
help in measuring the improvement or deterioration of each conveyor belt. A
technical audit report for all lines will be submitted within 1 month or maximum 6
weeks period after the completing this technical audit activity.

3.1.2 Annual daily inspections

This inspection is conducted by daily basis to monitoring conveyor belt line

performance. The standard inspection points as below.

Component Check points / Suggested parameters

Belts Physical conditions of belt and belt joints such as damage
of cover rubber, edge rubber, carcass, abrasion, etc.

Pulleys Drum surface condition, rubber lagging condition such as

wear, abrasion, etc.

Skirts Proper installation, marks on belting, material entrainment,

quality of material during operation of the conveyor belt
with material.

Cleaner/Vee Proper installation (Cleaning performance), damage,

Plough abrasion, etc.

Idlers Physical conditions, build-up, wear, rotation, lubrication,

missing, specification, quality, design, etc.

Tracking Identify the root /cause of miss-tracking of conveyor belt.

Spillages Identify the root/cause of spillage.

Chutes Corrosion, wear, holes, fitment, design, material

discharge, material accumulation, etc.

Support structures Corrosion, wear, bucking, distortion, design, installation,

etc.

Others Greasing , Clean up etc….

 3.3.3 Inspection Report
Inspection report contents are the actual belt condition and related parts of conveyor
belt system at the date of inspection, finding summary and recommendation. The
report is submitted by weekly and monthly. Emergency/ Critical matters are
reported immediately. Sample report attached
