The Importance of Education in Our Life

The honorable, my teacher, and my beloved friends, good evening. First of all, thank you for having
me here in this fine and joyfull night. I hope we are all in the good health. Today I would convey in the
importance of education in my short speech. On many occasions we hear the term education, but what is
education? How importance is education to our country and ourselves as students?

Well, to answer the first question, education refers to a process by which a person develops their
skills, attitudes and values. Many times we associate this term with the school, however we must also take
into account that education is not exclusive to this institution, but also it is up to the family and even to the
friendships with whom we live together day by day, that is why we can say that “men can get to improve
each other.” There is a phrase that I like very much and I find it very true. If the people of a country care
about the education, it shows that they love their nation. It is said that in order for a country to prosper it
needs education, but why?

The honorable audiences, we study not to go to the graduation ceremony and hang our picture on the
wall of our house, much less to show off to our friends. we study to practice and to acquire knowledge, and
those two then will prepare us to the real life situation. Education brings us too many benefits, such as
confidence in ourselves, freedom to decide, conscience as a whole, help us to improve ourselves, to feel
fulfilled, to feel that we are something in life and that we have an end for which to live. But this is not the
only satisfaction that education gives us, but with it we achieve a better quality of life; When we want to buy
a dress, shoes, food, or anything else, we need a work, which currently is not so easy to find and less if we
don’t have an adequate education.

It is said that the future of our country is in the hands of the children and as the children in this
country, we must try hard to achieve that. That is why today I invite all the audiences here to reflect on the
importance of education. We have to take advantage of this chance to be able to go to school to study. We
must appreciate the effort that our parents make to send us to school, and think that there are many children
who would like to study but for some reason they can not do it.

Finally, ask ourselves: without effort and education, how do we want to improve ourselves? How do
we want to live better? In short, how do we want a better country?. Therefore, education is an important part
of our life as well as an essential part to develop a better future for the country. So this is the end of my
speech today. I hope some of the points that I have conveyed tonight make us more appreciate of our chance
to be able to have the education at school and make us study more dilligently for both our country’s and our

 Pentingnya Pendidikan Dalam Kehidupan Kita

Yang terhormat, guru saya, dan teman-teman yang saya sayangi, selamat malam. Pertama-tama,
terimakasih telah bersama saya di sini di malam yang menyenangkan ini. Saya harap kita semua dalam
keadaan sehat. Malam ini saya akan menyampaikan pentingnya pendidikan dala kehidupan kita dalam
pidato singkat saya. Pada banyak kesempatan kita mendengar istilah pendidikan, tapi apa itu pendidikan?
Seberapa penting pendidikan bagi negara kita dan diri kita sendiri sebagai siswa?

Nah, untuk menjawab pertanyaan pertama, pendidikan mengacu pada proses dimana seseorang
mengembangkan keterampilan, sikap dan nilai mereka. Seringkali kita menghubungkan istilah ini dengan
sekolah, namun kita juga harus tahu bahwa pendidikan tidak hanya berhubungan dengan institusi ini, tetapi
juga didapati di keluarga dan bahkan dalam persahabatan atau dengan orang yang kita temui dari hari ke
hari. Itulah mengapa pepatah mengatakan bahwa “manusia bisa saling mengajari.” Itu ungkapan yang sangat
saya sukai dan saya merasa itu sangat benar. Jika orang-orang peduli terhadap pendidikan mereka, hal itu
menunjukkan bahwa mereka mencintai bangsanya. Dikatakan bahwa agar suatu negara dapat makmur
dibutuhkan pendidikan, tapi kenapa?

Hadirin yang terhormat, kita belajar di sekolah tidak hanya untuk pergi ke upacara wisuda dan
menggantungkan gambar wisuda kita di dinding rumah kita, apalagi untuk menyombingkan diri kepada
teman-teman kita. Kita belajar untuk berlatih dan memperoleh pengetahuan, dan kedua hal itu kemudian
dapat mempersiapkan kita dalam menghadapi situasi di kehidupan nyata. Pendidikan memberikan kita
banyak manfaat, seperti meningkatkan kepercayaan pada diri, memberi kebebasan untuk memilih dan
memutuskan, memiliki hati nurani yang utuh, membantu kita memperbaiki diri, merasa punya arti, merasa
bahwa kita berbuat sesuatu dalam kehidupan dan bahwa kita memiliki tujuan untuk hidup. Tapi dari semua
itu pun, masih banyak manfaat yang diberikan pendidikan kepada kita, manfaat lainnya adalah kita dapat
mencapai kualitas kehidupan yang lebih baik; Bila kita ingin membeli baju, sepatu, makanan, atau apapun,
kita membutuhkan sebuah pekerjaan, dimana pekerjaan sekarang ini sulit dicari jika kita tidak memiliki
pendidikan yang memadai.

Teman-teman saya, masa depan negara kita ada di tangan anak-anak bangsa, dan sebagai anak-anak
bangsa di negeri ini, kita harus berusaha keras untuk mencapai masa depan itu. Itulah sebabnya hari ini saya
mengajak semua hadirin disini untuk merenungkan pentingnya pendidikan. Kita harus memanfaatkan
kesempatan bisa pergi ke sekolah untuk belajar. Kita juga harus menghargai usaha yang dilakukan orang tua
kita untuk menyekolahkan kita, karena ada banyak anak yang ingin sekolah tapi karena suatu hal mereka
tidak dapat melakukannya.

Terakhir, tanyakan pada diri sendiri: tanpa usaha dan pendidikan, bagaimana kita ingin memperbaiki
diri? Bagaimana kita ingin hidup lebih baik? bagaimana kita menginginkan negara yang lebih baik?. Oleh
karena itu, pendidikan merupakan bagian penting dari kehidupan kita sekaligus merupakan bagian penting
untuk mengembangkan masa depan yang lebih baik bagi negara. Maka inilah akhir dari pidato saya malam
ini. Saya harap beberapa poin yang telah saya sampaikan hari ini membuat kita lebih menghargai
kesempatan kita untuk dapat memiliki pendidikan di sekolah dan membuat kita belajar lebih giat untuk masa

 The Importance of Continuing Education

Good morning!

First of all I want to say thank you to the homeroom teacher of 2 Science 3 class for giving me an
opportunity to deliver my speech in front of these lovely students today. My name is Diana Alfianti and I am
a representative from the Local Education Authorities, today I am going to speech about the importance of
further education for senior high school students. Students, secondary school such as high school is an
importance place for the nation’s children. Senior high school has a tough responsibility as a formal place
which has to nurture the students in teen age. Senior high school students are expected to be autonomous and
have the ability to mingle with the society. However the level of literate education in our country is very
low. Some parents gave up getting their children enrolled to senior high school because parents cannot
afford the tuition fee. Thus since 2016 the government has been diligently promoting the 12 years education
compulsory which consists of 6 years in Elementary School, 3 years in Junior High School and 3 years in
Senior High School.

The real characteristic that Indonesia is a developing country can be seen through the low level of
education in our country. Education is one of the most important factors for the country welfare because the
nation’s characteristic can be reflected from its next generation. In developed countries, the students go to
higher education such as college or courses in order to achieve their dreams and get into a good position in
job. High school education is assessed as not enough to enter the job, students need to be equipped with
more skills and experiences in order to get their dream jobs. This matter is what we called as sustainable
education. Sustainable education encourages the students to pursue higher education after they finished the
study in high school. The world moves rapidly nowadays and so does working world. Besides some
positions in the company or institutions are requiring high education level and skills. The preparation to
enter the working world is started since high school but the skill and the focus are still lacking if the
education is stopped in high school. This sustainable education itself is utilized as a place to gives
experiences and detailed knowledge regarding to working world itself. The scope of sustainable education is
not merely talking about University, students can go to courses to improve your personal skills. You only
learn about the theory from text book in high school but the specialization of skill and knowledge are not
being deepened in school.

The example of sustainable education in course such as you can go to computer course to gain more
skills on operating computer. Meanwhile university offers more exercises and the implementation of in-class
learning into the society life. The sustainable education is not hard to find in this modern world, the
government has been providing many Universities and courses which are available to nurture the country’s
youngsters. Sustainable education is very important to support human’s career especially in this
globalization era. The fact is, the technological development will not stop in this point, technology will be
more developed in the future. Therefore our nation is encouraged to obtain enough skill, education,
experience, and knowledge first before entering a job. That is all from me, I will leave my contact here if

 Pentingnya Pendidikan Berkelanjutan

Selamat pagi!

Pertama-tama saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada guru wali kelas 2 IPA 3 yang telah
memberi saya kesempatan untuk menyampaikan pidato saya di depan para siswa yang cantik dan tampan
hari ini. Nama saya Diana Alfianti dan saya adalah perwakilan dari Dinas Pendidikan Daerah, hari ini saya
akan berbicara tentang pentingnya pendidikan lanjutan bagi siswa SMA. Murid murid, sekolah menengah
seperti SMA merupakan tempat yang penting bagi anak bangsa. SMA memiliki tanggung jawab besar
sebagai tempat formal untuk mendidik para siswa di usia remaja. Siswa SMA diharapkan bisa mandiri dan
memiliki kemampuan untuk bergaul dengan masyarakat. Namun tingkat pendidikan di negara kita sangat
rendah. Beberapa orang tua menyerahkan anak mereka ke SMA karena orang tua tidak mampu membayar
uang sekolah. Sejak tahun 2016 pemerintah telah rajin mempromosikan 12 tahun wajib belajar yang terdiri
dari 6 tahun di Sekolah Dasar, 3 tahun di SMP dan 3 tahun di SMA.

Ciri bahwa Indonesia adalah negara berkembang dapat dilihat melalui rendahnya tingkat pendidikan
di negara kita. Pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor terpenting untuk kesejahteraan negara karena
karakteristik bangsa dapat tercermin dari generasi penerusnya. Di negara maju, para siswa pergi ke
pendidikan tinggi seperti kuliah atau kursus untuk mencapai impian mereka dan menempati posisi yang baik
dalam pekerjaan. Pendidikan sekolah menengah dinilai tidak cukup untuk memasuki pekerjaan, siswa perlu
dilengkapi dengan lebih banyak keterampilan dan pengalaman untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan impian
mereka. Hal inilah yang kita sebut sebagai pendidikan berkelanjutan. Pendidikan berkelanjutan mendorong
siswa u ntuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi setelah mereka menyelesaikan studi di SMA. Dunia bergerak
dengan cepat begitu pula dunia kerja. Selain itu beberapa posisi di perusahaan atau institusi membutuhkan
tingkat pendidikan dan keterampilan yang tinggi. Persiapan memasuki dunia kerja dimulai sejak SMA tapi
keterampilan dan fokusnya masih kurang jika pendidikan dihentikan di SMA. Pendidikan berkelanjutan ini
sendiri dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat untuk memberi pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang terperinci mengenai
dunia kerja itu sendiri. Ruang lingkup pendidikan berkelanjutan tidak hanya berbicara tentang Universitas,
siswa dapat mengikuti kursus untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pribadinya. Kalian hanya belajar tentang
teori dari buku teks di SMA tapi spesialisasi keterampilan dan pengetahuan tidak diperdalam di sekolah.

Contoh pendidikan berkelanjutan misalnya kalian bisa daftar ke kursus komputer, disana kalian akan
mendapatkan lebih banyak skill dalam mengoperasikan komputer. Sementara itu universitas menawarkan
lebih banyak praktik dan penerapan pembelajaran kelas ke dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Pendidikan
berkelanjutan tidak sulit ditemukan di dunia modern ini, pemerintah telah menyediakan banyak Universitas
dan kursus yang tersedia untuk membina anak-anak bangsa. Pendidikan berkelanjutan sangat penting untuk
menunjang karir manusia terutama di era globalisasi ini. Faktanya, perkembangan teknologi tidak akan
berhenti pada titik ini, teknologi akan semakin berkembang di masa depan. Oleh karena itu bangsa kita
didorong untuk memperoleh cukup keterampilan, pendidikan, pengalaman, dan pengetahuan terlebih dahulu
sebelum memasuki suatu pekerjaan. Kiranya sekian dari saya, jika kalian memiliki pertanyaan seputar

 Juvenile Delinquency

First of all let us say thanks to The Almighty for given us grace, guidance, and the never ending
blessing to us so we can gather in this place. Today, I would like to deliver my speech on juvenile
delinquency. Teenagers like us are emotionally fragile and unstable, has high curiosity and likes to try new
things. So it is not a new thing that some students are involved in criminal activities such as free sex, drugs,
gangster, and any other criminal actions. Juvenile delinquency itself is a crime committed by children or
teenagers under 18 years old. Delinquency itself is an act which cannot be accepted by the society. Teen age
is a transition from childhood into adulthood. The children are experiencing the development process
however some of them are succeed to become good adults meanwhile the other are falling for juvenile
delinquency actions. One of the strongest factors that make teenagers being defiant is wrong friendship.

My friends,

I will take one of the juvenile delinquency examples which is drugs. Drugs are illegal medicines
which endanger the teenagers’ lives. Prevention is better than medication, drugs need to be stop from now
before it takes more lives. I will explain about several ways to keep us away from drugs. The most important
thing is let us be more faithful to our religion, there is no religion who allows human to consume things that
endanger the human’s life. Try to understand about the religion’s significance so religion can guide you into
the right path. You will understand which is right or wrong for you if you can value your faith. The second
thing is to strengthen your bond with your family members. The family role in the effort of drugs prevention
is very enormous.

Parents are the first teacher for their children so I encourage you to be a smart father and mother for
your children in the future. Parents should nurture the children to be a responsible human. Parents will
always direct the children to do positive thing, all that we can do is to follow and be obedient to their
directions. Parents know what is right or wrong for us so if our parents limit our activities or social life,
please understand that they are doing that because they love you. The third factor that will leads into
teenager delinquency is friends. Some of us might be spending more time with friend instead of family. Slow
but sure, your behavior will be affected by your friends. Moreover teenagers have high curiosity therefore it
is very dangerous to be friend with friends who like to do negative things. Last but not least, we will be
categorized as geeky or outdated. Some teenagers assume that they are cool if they try to smoke, drugs, or
brawl.

The fact is staying away from juvenile delinquency is not an easy task to do, we should bare it when
some of our friends said that we are outdated, geeky, or being bullied. Let us keep this in mind, drugs or any
other juvenile delinquency activities will destroy our life. Juvenile delinquency is hard to be eliminated but
we can overcome that if we are motivated to stay away from those harmful actions. Let us fill our teen age
life with positive activities that will be beneficial for family, nation, and our beloved country. Thank you for

 Kenakalan Remaja

Pertama-tama mari kita panjatkan puji syukur kepada Yang Maha Kuasa karena telah memberi kita
anugerah, tuntunan, dan berkah yang tiada akhir sehingga kita dapat berkumpul di tempat ini. Hari ini, saya
ingin menyampaikan pidato tentang kenakalan remaja. Secara emosional remaja seperti kita rapuh dan tidak
stabil, memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi dan suka mencoba hal baru. Jadi bukanlah hal baru jika beberapa
siswa terlibat dalam kegiatan kenakalan remaja seperti seks bebas, narkoba, gangster, dan tindakan lainnya.
Kenakalan remaja itu sendiri adalah kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh anak-anak atau remaja di bawah 18
tahun. Penimpangan atau kenakalan itu sendiri merupakan tindakan yang tidak bisa diterima masyarakat.
Usia remaja adalah transisi dari masa kanak-kanak menuju dewasa. Anak-anak mengalami proses
perkembangan, beberapa di antaranya berhasil menjadi orang dewasa yang baik sedangkan yang lainnya
mencoba hal tidak baik seperti terjerat dalam kenakalan remaja. Salah satu faktor terkuat yang membuat
remaja menjadi pemberontak adalah karena pergaulan yang salah.

Teman-teman,

Saya akan mengambil salah satu contoh kenakalan remaja yaitu narkoba. Narkoba adalah obat-
obatan terlarang yang membahayakan remaja kita. Mencegah selalu lebih baik daripada mngobati, narkoba
perlu dihentikan dari sekarang sebelum narkoba memakan lebih banyak korban. Saya akan menjelaskan
beberapa cara untuk menjauhkan kita dari narkoba. Hal yang paling penting adalah marilah kita perdalam
agama kita, tidak ada agama yang mengizinkan umatya untuk mengonsumsi hal-hal yang mebahayakan
dirinya. Fahamilah nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam agama kita sehingga agama bisa membimbing kita ke
jalan yang benar. Kita akan mengerti mana yang benar dan yang yang salah jika kita berpegang teguh pada
keyakinan kita. Hal kedua adalah memperkuat ikatan dengan anggota keluarga. Peran keluarga dalam upaya
pencegahan narkoba sangatlah besar. Orangtua adalah guru pertama untuk anak-anak mereka jadi saya harap
kita akan menjadi ayah dan ibu yang cerdas untuk anak-anak kita kelak. Orang tua diharuskan untuk
mendidik anak-anaknya menjadi manusia yang bertanggung jawab. Orangtua akan selalu mengarahkan anak
untuk melakukan hal positif, maka dari itu sudah sepatutnya bagi kita untuk mengikuti perintah dan patuh
terhadap arahan mereka.

Orangtua tahu betul apa yang benar atau salah bagi kita jadi jika orang tua kita membatasi aktivitas
atau kehidupan sosial kita, tolong mengertilah bahwa mereka melakukannya karena mereka menyayangi kta.
Faktor ketiga yang mengacu menjadi penyebab kenakalan remaja adalah teman. Beberapa dari kita mungkin
menghabiskan lebih banyak waktu dengan teman dibanding keluarga. Perlahan-lahan, tingkah laku kita akan
terpengaruh oleh teman-teman kita. Apalagi remaja cseperti kita cenderung memiliki rasa keingintahuan
yang tinggi sehingga sangat berbahaya untuk berteman dengan teman yang suka melakukan hal negatif.
Yang terakhir namun tidak kalah pentingnya, kita akan kata-katai culun atau ketinggalan zaman jika tidak
mencoba narkoba. Beberapa remaja beranggapan bahwa mereka keren jika mereka merokok, mengonsumsi
narkoba, atau terlibat dalam tawuran.

Faktanya, menjauhkan diri dari kenakalan remaja bukanlah hal yang mudah untuk dilakukan, kita
harus tahan jika beberapa teman kita mengatakan bahawa kita ketinggalan jaman, culun atau bahkan jika kita
di bully. Marilah kita ingat satu hal, narkoba dan tingkah kenakalan remaja lainnya akan menghancurkan
hidup kita. Kenakalan remaja sulit untuk dihilangkan namun kita bisa mengatasinya jika kita termotivasi
untuk menjauh dari tindakan yang merugikan itu. Marilah kita isi kehidupan remaja kita dengan kegiatan
positif yang akan bermanfaat bagi keluarga, bangsa, dan negara kita tercinta. Terima kasih atas perhatiannya,

 Student Future Goals

Good morning ladies and gentlemen and also my friends. Thank you for the opportunity given to me
this morning. I feel really excited because this is one of the things I dream of. I love being able to speak in
front of many people because I want to be a presenter someday. For me, a presenter is a person who is full of
confidence and also smart. The presenter should be able to convey information well and correctly to
everyone. I was amazed by the presenter I used to see on the television. Someday, I will be like one of them.
Anyway, speaking about the future goal, is there anyone here who has no dream at all?

In my opinion, every kid in this world must have a future goal. A future goal is not just a dream, but
it is also the purpose of life. With a goal, we will have the encouragement to become a better person every
day. We may dream high, such as being a teacher, a doctor, a pilot, a nurse, a manager, or an entrepreneur.
We should not be ashamed of the dream that we have because after all, our goal is our hope for the future.
Therefore, we must try hard to learn to achieve our goal.

The future goal may change as time goes by. If you wanted to be a doctor, then you change your
mind and want to be a teacher, it does not matter, as long as we keep trying hard. My friends, in this life,
there is nothing instant that can last long. There is also no instant way in achieving our goals. Everything we
do requires a process. The process that we will face is not an easy process.

Maybe in reaching the goal, we will need a few years. But do not worry, you will not go through the
process by yourself, on the way there, you will find many new things, new friends, new opportunities, and
other interesting things.

Sometimes, we will also fail. Do not be afraid! Failure is not the enemy of success. Failure is like a
friend who needs our help. We should not be easily discouraged with the failure. Remember, failure is a sign
that we move a step closer to achieve our goals. For example, if you want to be a teacher, you must be
diligent. The learning process is a long process. It took years to be able to reach the goal as a teacher. If you
often get a bad score, you should not give up. You can be more active learning so that in the future you can
achieve the better score.

In addition, the future goal is not only about a profession. If you like playing music, or drawing, you
can be a singer or a painter. The future goal can also be a masterpiece. Keep continue to develop the
potential that we have, because it is a positive thing. Do not ever be afraid if someone underestimates our
goal because there is no bad goal The future goals are a good thing.

Alright my friends, this is the end of my speech today. Remember, do not be afraid to set our future
goal. Set it as high as you can. Take and develop our potential. Never give up. Keep trying to get better. Do
not be lazy. Finally, thank you very much for your attention. Hopefully my speech today can encourage us to
reach our goals. Let’s keep trying to raech the goal for a better future!

Selamat pagi para hadirin dan teman-teman semua. Terima kasih atas kesempatan yang diberikan
kepada saya pagi hari ini. Saya merasa bersemangat sekali karena ini adalah salah satu hal yang saya impi-
impikan. Saya senang bisa berbicara di depan banyak orang karena saya bercita-cita untuk menjadi
presenter. Bagi saya, seorang presenter adalah orang yang penuh percaya diri dan juga pintar. Presenter
harus bisa menyampaikan informasi dengan baik dan benar kepada semua orang. Saya sangat kagum dengan
presenter yang biasa saya lihat di dalam TV. Suatu saat nanti, saya akan menjadi seperti salah satu dari
mereka. Berbicara tentang cita-cita, apakah disini ada yang tidak memiliki cita-cita?

Menurut saya, setiap anak-anak di dunia ini harus memiliki cita-cita. Cita-cita bukan hanya sekedar
mimpi, tapi juga adalah tujuan hidup. Dengan adanya cita-cita, kita akan mempunyai semangat untuk mejadi
pribadi yang lebih baik dari hari sebelumnya. Kita boleh mempunyai cita-cita setinggi apapun, seperti
misalnya menjadi guru, dokter, pilot, perawat, manager, ataupun menjadi wiraswasta. Kita tidak boleh malu
dengan cita-cita yang kita miliki karena bagaimana pun juga, cita-cita adalah harapan kita di masa depan.
Oleh karena itu, kita harus berusaha giat belajar untuk mencapai cita-cita kita.

Cita-cita boleh berubah seiiring dengan berjalannya waktu. Jika dulu kalian ingin menjadi dokter,
kemudian kalian berubah pikiran dan ingin menjadi seorang guru, itu tidak masalah asalkan kita berusaha
dengan sungguh-sungguh. Teman-teman, didalam hidup ini, tidak ada sesuatu yang instan yang dapat
bertahan lama. Tidak ada juga hal instan dalam mencapai cita-cita kita. Semua yang kita lakukan
memerlukan proses. Proses yang akan dilewati memang bukanlah proses yang mudah.

Mungkin dalam meraih cita-cita, kita akan membutuhkan beberapa tahun. Tapi jangan khawatir,
kalian tidak akan melewati proses tersebut sendiri, di dalam perjalanannya kalian akan banyak sekali
menemukan hal-hal baru, teman-teman baru, kesempatan baru, dan hal-hal menarik lainnya.

Terkadang, kita juga akan menemui kegagalan. Janganlah takut! Kegagalan bukanlah musuh
keberhasilan. Kegagalan bagaikan seorang teman yang membutuhkan pertolongan. Kita tidak boleh mudah
putus asa dalam menghadapi kegagalan. Ingatlah kegagalan merupakan tanda kalau kita tinggal sedikit lagi
mencapai cita-cita kita.

Seperti misalnya, jika teman-teman ingin menjadi seorang guru, teman-teman harus rajin belajar.
Proses belajar merupakan proses yang panjang. Butuh bertahun-tahun untuk bisa mewujudkan cita-cita
teman-teman sebagai seorang guru. Jika teman-teman sering mendapat nilai jelek, teman-teman tidak boleh
mudah putus asa. Teman-teman bisa lebih giat belajar agar kedepannya teman-teman dapat meraih nilai yang
lebih baik lagi.

Selain itu, cita-cita bukan hanya sebuah profesi. Jika teman-teman senang bermain music, atapun
menggambar, teman-teman boleh bercita-cita menjadi penyanyi ataupun pelukis. Cita-cita juga bisa berupa
sebuah karya yang membanggakan. Terus kembangkan potensi yang kita punya, karena hal tersebut
merupakan hal positif. Jangan pernah takut jika ada orang yang meremehkan cita-cita kita karena tidak ada
cita-cita yang jelek. Semua cita-cita adalah hal yang baik.

Baiklah teman-teman terkasih, sekian pidato saya pada hari ini. Ingatlah, jangan takut untuk bercita-
cita. Bercita-citalah setinggi mungkin. Raihlah dan kembangkan potensi yang ada didalam diri kita masing-
masing. Jangan pernah putus asa. Teruslah berusaha untuk mejadi lebih baik. Jangan bermalas-malasan.
Akhir kata saya ucapkan terima kasih banyak atas perhatian teman-teman semuanya. Semoga pidato saya
hari ini dapat memberikan semangat untuk kita semua. Ayo terus berusaha menggapai cita untuk masa depan
yang lebih baik!

In the name of Allah the beneficent and the merciful
Praise is to Allah, the lord of the world, and the sequel is for those who keep their duty unto him. Further,
there will be no hostility except against wrongdoers.
Blessing and salutation upon the most honorable prophet and messenger, his families, all his disciples, and
those who follow them in goodness till the any of judgment.

In this good chance, I would like to deliver my speech by title; THE YOUTH RESPONSIBILITY

Dear Moslem Brothers!

When we talk about the youngsters in the Indonesia, we often find in many articles and we ourselves even
witness and support the development of nation. They are the hope of the nation who will carry out the
struggle for the sake of the brighter future of the country. Similarly, they are at the same time, the hope of
Islam religion who will strive for the sake of Islamic teaching in the next maintenance of the Islamic laws,
who will safeguard the young Moslem generation at large from the influence of destructive western lifestyle,
who will be the leaders for the next, it was yelled as : (subbanul yaum, rijalul ghoddi)

Today is young, tomorrow will be a leader.

This statement encourages us to pay attention to the young’s existence in the future. By knowing all the
facts, we realize how important the role of the young generation has in the future. The youth supposedly
symbolize the force that never becomes weak quickly. The youngsters play significant roles and have a great
potency and energy that can be prided.

Dear Moslem in One Aqidah!

Therefore our religion enjoins us to be flexible Moslem leaders for the society who ultimately have to devote
themselves for the development of Moslem community at large. Ironically in the ICT (Information and
Communication Technology) era we witness the conducts of young people are always against the Islamic
laws. We pay attention to many young people who are not aware of their education, their future and it is
poor if we see our Moslem brothers in our country behaving badly and intentionally avoiding Islamic
teachings to follow the western culture. We can’t imagine and describe what is going to happen in the next
time if all young Moslem people are careless in their responsibility. We have to be aware that the
responsibility of nation developing and religion establishing depend on the young generation. By those
considerations we should be very careful with any of destructive western lifestyle and culture that would
affect the Islamic values and teachings.

As the Moslem generation, we have a great responsibility to the future of religion and nation. Young
generation is the only hope of the life of nation, the development and the decline of nation depend on them.
And the victory and the destruction of religion and nation are on the hands of next generation. It’s quite right
what Mustofa Al-gholayain said in the book of Idhotun Nasyi’in “Yaa ma’syarosyabaab, inna fii yadiikum
amrol ummah, wafii aqdaamikum hayaatahaa”

“Hi youths…surely all kind of community’s problem, in the success of not depend on your hands, and surely
the development of religion, nation and country are on your shoulder”

Dear Moslems!
Last but not the least; I would like to call you all to prepare our generation in order to be able to replace the
old generation in the future. And I hope you and all Moslem society and Moslem brothers wherever they are
to obtain from bad action and furthermore we have to develop our skill and potency to reach up the brighter
future. Amin ya robbal alamiin.
