Jericho "Echo" Vibar Rosales (born September 22, 1979)[1] is an entertainer from the Philippines

Primarily a film and television actor, he is known by his stage name of "Echo". He began his career by
winning the Mr. Pogi ("Handsome") talent search on the noontime variety television show Eat Bulaga!
His career has spanned over 20 years and a variety of genres, warranting the moniker, "Asia's Prince of
Dramas."[2]

During the launch of Chowking’s Tikman Ang Tagumpay ad campaign, Jericho Rosales shared his
inspiring success story about his struggling years before he became one of the hottest celebrities today.
He had no qualms about admitting that he used to be a fish vendor and was in fact, proud of it. But
because of the nature of his job then, there were really trying times according to the talented actor.

Even back then, Jericho was already the type who really gives his best in whatever he does. “Grabe yung
yung 25 to 50 pesos mo. Enjoy na ako sa ganon. Hindi ako nangungupit,” he recalled in between laughs.

During his elementary and high school years though, it was a challenge for Jericho to establish
friendships as his family was always on the move due to his mom’s work. He also revealed how he
overcame his insecurities as a child who was deprived of the luxuries that he can now afford. “Siyempre
two weeks so bibili nanaman ako ng bagong pentel pen ‘pag nag-fade ulit.”

But such hardships became Jericho’s motivating force to follow his dreams no matter how impossible it
may seem. And those experiences keep him grounded especially now that he is an accomplished
actor/singer.
nasisira. Kaya para sa akin, success is actually yung mafu-fulfill mo yung purpose mo. For example sa

In the meantime, Jericho can’t wait to return to primetime TV via the teleserye Green Rose opposite
Anne Curtis. “That’s something I am looking forward to.
But of course
you can be successful everyday. Think of long and short term goals then start achieving them one day at
a time,” he beamed.
