Motivation The teacher will let the students watch video
presentation of the song “Si Patokaan” from Thailand
and will let them sing along. The students will be
guided with the following questions:
 What is the title of the song?
 Where does the song originated?

Presentation of the Lesson
1. Activity LET US SING!
The teacher will let the class watch and listen again
the song “Si Patokaan”. The class will sing together
with the video to have the right tune and tempo of the
song. Afterwards, the class will be group into four (4)
for the next activity.

2. Analysis GROUP COLLABORATION


Each group will analyze the song si Patokaan Based
on the elemets of music present in the song.

3. Abstraction The teacher will elaborate the elements of music of “Si
Patokaan”.

Rhythm- Rhythm is consistent and is not complex
Melody- The melody in fisrt verse is a repetition
Timbre- The singing is high pitch
Dynamics- It is in medium and doesn’t change
Harmony- the chords repeat themselves but is different
from the fisrt to second verse

4. Application/Generalizati The teacher will let the student show another video
on entitled “ Leron- Leron, sinta” and will let them sing
together with the video. The student will answer the
following questions:
 What are the similarities between the song “Si
Patokaan” and “Leron-Leron, Sinta”?
 What are the elements present in Leron-Leron,
Sinta that is present in “Si Patokaan”?
IV. EVALUATION Analyze the elements of music of the song “Leron-
Leron, Sinta”. Write down the characteristics of the
song Leron- Leron, Sinta”. (3pts. for each elemets )
