In this case, it was a group of 35 workers and professionals from the Collahuasi mine, located at
4,300 meters above sea level, in the northern region of Tarapacá, who in mid-April 2013 saw and
photographed a silver disk that it remained visible for about two hours, about 600 meters above
sea level, on an absolutely clear day, with no clouds in the sky.
"It was a silver disc, about ten meters in diameter, that made vertical and horizontal
displacements that no plane can make, but that seemed to follow a predetermined flight plan,"
Bermudez explained.
The object, in that context, became part of 3% of the total sightings recorded in Chile since 1998
that have been officially recognized as UFOs.

"Fue un disco de plata, de unos diez metros de diámetro, el que hizo desplazamientos verticales y
horizontales que ningún avión puede hacer, pero que parecía seguir un plan de vuelo
predeterminado", explicó Bermúdez.
El objeto, en ese contexto, se convirtió en parte del 3% del total de avistamientos registrados en
Chile desde 1998 que han sido oficialmente reconocidos como OVNIs.
