New Teachers, New Heroes

We can be anything, but we can’t achieve that without the help of our teachers.

Tambulig National High School Lower Tiparak Annex, ended up so blessed because of the additional
teachers that has a lot of experience in teaching in the different school levels.

Alonabelle Cruda spent her 18 years of service in Dinas National High School-Main Campus. She
finished her degree in education at Misamis University majoring Filipino. She’s very fluent in Filipino. She
is currently residing at Upper Tiparak, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur, together with her husband and
children. She believes that the saying that goes like this: “ Do all the good things that you can, ad all the
way you can to all the people while you still can.”

Maryrose G. Baculio was born on November 03, 1992 and a daughter of Mr. amd Mrs. Ernesto
Potot and Rosita Atacador Gerbese. She studied in La Salle University with Bachelor of Arts in Political
Science. She is now happily married to Jonathan Baculio. She is the adviser of Grade-7 Aquarius. Her
guiding principle is, “ expect the worst and hope for the best”

Anchelle Titoy Melendres is currently the grade-10 Taurus adviser. She spent her high school
days at Tambulig National high School and graduated her degree at JH Cerilles State College, Tambulig
Campus in March 2011

Rodrigo “Digong” R. Duterte the 16th president in the Republic of the Philippines, won with a landslide
victory gathering 16, 601, 997 votes and took office last June 30, 2016.

President “Digong” was born on March 28, 1945 in Southern Leyte. They move to Mindanao in 1948 and
finally settled in Davao region in 1951. He graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science at the Lyceum of the Philippines, University in Manila. He took his law degree in San Beda
College in 1972.

During his leadership as a Mayor in Davao City, Davao won the national Literacy Hall of Fame Award for
being the three-time first placer in the search for the Outstanding Local Government Unit. The president
isn’t like any other government officials. He declined a nomination for the World Mayor Prize given by
an international body. He only said that “he was just doing his job.” Among the other awards, Digong
also refused to accept the 2010 Anti- Smoking Award in Singapore.

He used city funds to build a 12 million Drug Rehabilitation and Treatment Center which provides 24-
hour services. It was appreciated by the tourism organization as the “ the most peaceful city in
Southeast Asia and ranks as the World’s Fourth Safest Place in Numbeo.com
And now that he won as the new president, the people’s expectation is so high. People are hoping for
the changes that he promised.
