for A320 Captains to be based in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, Vietnam. Rishworth has a long and trusted

Assignment Period:

5 years, renewable

Start Date:

Within 3 months / 90 days of your successful screening

Monthly Payments* (In USD. Based on standard 6x2 roster pattern):

From Start of Ground School, until issue of CAAV International standard hotel accommodation & ground
licence (or up to a maximum of 28 days) transportation.
Line Training Rate USD$243 per day
Full Rate USD$10,800 per month
Sign On Bonus (one time payment) USD$2,000 added to your first monthly fee payment

Your Contract Benefits:

Overtime Fee Increment

Minimum Requirements:
• 3,500+ Total Flight Hours
• 1,500+ Total PIC Hours and 1,000+ A320 PIC Hours
• Date of last flight as A320 PIC within 12 months at date of start of assignment
• Valid ATPL, Class 1 Medical and A320 OPC (SIM Check)
• Height: above 165cm for males and above 160cm for females
• Under 58 years of age for males and under 53 years of age for females

Work Permits & Visas:

Rishworth will arrange your initial visa for entry into Vietnam. Once your assignment begins, Vietnam
Airlines will arrange and pay for all visas/work permits necessary for you to work in Vietnam. Our on-
contract support team will also help to facilitate this process for you.

Medical Insurance:

Screening Process:

Once Vietnam Airlines has approved your application for screening, we will provide you with helpful
study material for your screening.

1. Skype Interview
Your Interview will be with one or two VNA Instructors. Topics will focus on technical and
personal questions. Interview outcomes will be confirmed within 48 hours.
2. Written Test & SIM Check
The written test and SIM Check are held in Ho Chi Minh City, usually across 1-2 days. You will
be advised if you have passed and if you have been offered the contract immediately after
completing the SIM Check.

Flights & Accommodation for Screening:

Vietnam Airlines will arrange tickets for you on the VNA Network for travel to and from Ho Chi Minh
City. *Please note this does not include code-share flights. You will be responsible for the ticket tax on
these flights (which is not reimbursable). You will be required to arrange and pay for any flights you
require to connect to the VNA Network.

Rishworth will arrange your accommodation for you while you are in Ho Chi Minh City. You will be
required to pay for this yourself and you will be fully reimbursed for the room component of your
accommodation bill once you start on contract with Vietnam Airlines.

Having completed 6 great years of flying in Germany, I was looking for a new challenge and
a bit of an adventure, so I made the move to a warmer climate and worked as an ATR72
PIC in the Philippines. In 2014, I signed a contract with Rishworth to work as an ATR72 PIC
for Vietnam Airlines based in Hanoi. After 3.5 years with VNA, I was given the opportunity
to transition to the A321 Fleet and was released in March 2018 as A321 Line Captain. I am
thoroughly enjoying living and working in South East Asia and I am glad to be part of the
Rishworth Pilot Support Team, responsible for welcoming and assisting new comers and
supporting our current crews too, in the best and most fun possible way.
