1. Read the text.

Usain Bolt was born in 1986 and he is now the fastest man in the world. When he was younger,
he didn’t think about anything else than sports, but Pablo McNeil, who was Bolt’s coach,
thought he had all the conditions to become an
excellent athlete. He just needed to work harder. At the
age of twelve, in the annual primary schools’ meeting,
everyone there was slower than him, so he won the
competition. In the 2002 World Junior Championships
he became the youngest world-junior gold medallist by
winning the 200m in a time of 20.61s. In 2007 Bolt won
more silver medals and that’s when he started working
harder on the 100m. He broke the 100m world record, which he still holds, in 2009. He can run
100m in 9.58s.
