For admission to the college, the applicant must go through the instructions carefully and fill in the
application form without leaving any column.
1. Students seeking admission should apply in the prescribed form available at the college office on
payment of cash Rs.100/- towards the cost of application for U.G and P.G courses or it can be
downloaded from the college website www.sivet.in . The downloaded application will be charged
Rs.100/- during submission.
2. If the candidate desires to apply for more than one course, separate application form shall be used.
3. Applicants have to present themselves along with their parents for admission at the time of admission
the candidates should produce the following originals
● Transfer Certificate.
● Conduct Certificate, if separately issued.
● Address Proof ( Xerox Copy of Voter ID or Adhaar ID or Ration card)
● Grade / Mark Certificate with 10 photo copies.
● Community Certificate from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Deputy Tahsildar.
● Income Certificate.
● Soft copy of Recent Photo in USA visa format (CD)
During admission, the original certificates will be collected and will not be returned till the end of the
course.
4. Admission of students from other Board Examination / other University areas is subject to the
confirmation of the University of Madras. Candidate would be required to prove his / her eligibility for
admission by providing original and genuine documents in support of the claims made.
5. If the University of Madras refuses recognition, a student’s admission can be cancelled at any time
during the year without any information.
6. The fees should be paid in the Self – Finance office either as cash or DD.
7. All certificates are subjected to verification by the Director of Government Examination. If a candidate
is admitted on the basis of information submitted by him/ her, which is found to be incorrect or false on
a later date, his/ her admission shall be cancelled and all fees and other dues paid by him/her shall be
forfeited. The college authorities may also take further action as deemed fit against such candidate
and / or his/ her parents / guardians as considered suitable
8. The student would be liable for necessary action as deemed fit by the College authorities for any
wrong information filled in the application form.
9. Any student who is absent without the written permission of the Principal for the first five working days
after admission, will forfeit his/her seat.
2. Students whose name has been removed for non-payment of fees should pay an admission fee of
Rs.100/- and other dues already incurred (i.e. fee and default fine – to - date).
3. All the fees can be paid on admission within the first 10 days of the commencement of the academic
year without fine or within the 20th day of the commencement of the academic year with fine of
Rs.5/- per day. Thereafter, they have to pay Re-admission Fee of Rs.100 along with the fees due.
4. Students can pay fees in Cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary,
S.I.V.E.T.College”. The payment will be accepted at the College Office.
5. If any student discontinues after joining the course, he/she has to pay the entire fees for
three years to get his/her transfer Certificate & other certificates from the college.
