contrary, you will become what the Father had in mind when he created you, and you will be
faithful to your deepest self." - Pope Francis

CLOSING OUT
THE SEMESTER
The final weeks of this school year have been quite eventful.
We threw a 16-hour party as an alternative to a city-wide
drinking "holiday" (Fake Patty's Day). Haiti was an incredible
experience of service and mission which propelled us into
the season of Easter. We entered into Christ's Passion &
Resurrection with our St. Isidore's family. The following
weekend, I was able to bring 4 students back to Texas to
cultivate a deeper community and friendship. They were
able to meet my family, friends, & church community. This
strengthened our friendships and their desire to spiritually
multiply back in KS. This past week, KSU took 12 students to
the FOCUS Father's House retreat, which was a weekend
spent in prayer & meditation as we journeyed Home to the
Father's House. Here we experienced the transformative,
healing power of God! The final weeks  are being spent
praying with students on campus & preparing our students
for summer accountability!

TEAM UPDATE
Our team director, Alex Sanchez, has a baby arriving in May & feels
called to move back to Oklahoma to care for an ill family member. He
has accepted a position with FOCUS in recruitment, which leaves the
team director position at KSU wide open. I have been offered a
promotion to be the team director here at KSU, & through diligent
discernment, I have humbly accepted! The Lord keeps inviting me to
trust Him in a greater capacity. Although I am undeserving of this
promotion, I am really looking forward to this endeavor. At this
moment, the rest of my current team will be returning to KSU next
semester and we will be receiving a new male teammate. Please
continue to pray for us & know that we are praying for you!
