Behavior Management Plan

Routines For Students

 Students will come into the classroom quietly and respectfully. Students will sit

in their assigned seats and work on the problem of the day (bell work) silently

until everyone gets into the room. Students will continue to work on the

problem until further instruction.

 The teaching area will be my classroom. This classroom will consist of a big white

board or smart board. I will have a lot of calculators and a class set of little white

boards with markers so that each student can have a whiteboard during class to

do the math problems as told.

 Students should sit in their assigned seats unless told otherwise (ex. group

work). I will sit the desks in rows but so each person has a partner. As I am giving

the instruction I will students

 Students will get up as small groups (I will tell them when to get up) to go get

equipment so that way not everyone is getting up at the same time. They will

walk up to get their materials quietly and return to their seats once they get

their materials.

 Depending on what the lesson is or group work is that is how I will group

students. Sometimes I will group students by tables or I may group students on

their ability level. I may put a student who knows the material really well with a

student who struggles in order for students to work together in order to better

understand the material.

 I expect students to be respectful towards the guest speakers, sit quietly, and

listen to the guest speaker. During an assembly I expect my students to again sit

quietly and pay attention.
