PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
5TH GRADE TEACHER | BLACKHAWK SCHOOL DISTRICT
AUGUST 2013-PRESENT | BEAVER FALLS, PA
 Incorporated a wide array of technology within the
classroom including the use of SMARTBoards, Promethean
boards, Ipads, document cameras, and mobile laptop labs.
 Established a classroom community by incorporating
classroom meetings, flexible seating, emotional/well-being
check-ins.
 Created and gave both summative and formative
assessments and used data from these to guide instruction.
 Collaborated with fifth grade team, administrators,
counselors, Special Education teachers, and support staff
to plan engaging and differentiated lessons in all content
areas.
 Participated in PLC meetings, staff meetings and grade level
meetings
 Integrated STEAM utilizing hands-on, inquiry-based modules
that allow students to explore concepts in a wide-range of
