Willingness to accept role as a health care provider

Kemi definitely understands and accepts her role as a health care provider and seem to really enjoy what
she does.

Utilization of evidence-based medicine techniques in patient care

Kemi is always asking questions about how research is related to what we are doing at the clinical site. She
also brings in new ideas from things she is learning in class and is always interested in relating the two .

Strengths of the athletic training student

Kemi's personality is by far her biggest strength. She is easily able to form bonds with both the students and
coaches at Piedmont, and both trust her and her abilities as an athletic training student. Kemi also shows a
learning initiative in more than just what she is learning in the program at that time. She is always interested
in talking about new topics and ideas in athletic training.

Areas for the athletic training student to improve

Kemi should continue to work on evaluation skills. Unfortunately my site did not have a ton of real-time
lower extremity evaluations for her, but I know the more she does them, she will improve easily and quickly.

Do you feel students under your supervision engage in a sufficient number of real-time clinical
evaluations? Why or Why Not?
No. We did not have a lot of real-time injuries/evaluations for Kemi to be involved in, especially with lower
extremity. A majority of our lower injuries happened at the very beginning of the year before she started
evaluations.

Additional comments
It was a pleasure to have Kemi at my site. I know she is going to do great in whatever field of athletic
training she chooses!
