MH-300 Assembly

This data is prepared based on the actual installation work in a certain facility.
The jigs and the materials shown in this data may not be provided in all facilities
and local sites. However, refer to this data as a sample case.
1. Installation of base plate
plate (Floor construction)

MH-300 is installed onto the base plate, which is embedded in the floor. The base plate
should be installed in the floor before installation of MH-300 main body starts.
The total mass of the system is 1,100 kg including the base plate, and this mass is
applied on the floor area of 1.5×1.5m. (The effective load is 1.25 times of 1,100
kg.)

In order to assure safety and equipment performance, discuss directly and carefully
with the designer of the construction design office, and reinforce the floor if
necessary.

Cut out mortar on the floor surface with about 3 cm depth and 1.7×1.7m size as shown
in the figure below. Don’t cut out base concrete. After cutting out mortar, confirm
that the sufficient floor strength is assured. The levelness of the base plate should
be within 1/1000. Use epoxy resin to get the necessary levelness.

center jig. Refer to above table to pick up proper jig.

1-72 Trinias Installation Guide

“X-ray tube alignment Calibration procedure”
procedure”

・Move the tube alignment jig while applying fluoroscope and seek the point where
the two markers “●” and “X” of the tube alignment jig overlap each other, and
fix the tube alignment jig at the position. It is not necessary that the markers
are located at the center of the view field.

Adjust so that
these two markers
overlap.

In case of FPD

Assembling of the alignment jig

・Loosen the bolts that fix X-ray tube. While conducting fluoroscope in the minimum
FPD visual field and at maximum SID, swing the X-ray tube to the point where the marker
of I.I. center jig and the marker of tube alignment jig overlap. At this position,
fix X-ray tube.

・Move FPD backward and forward and change SID large and small to confirm that there
is no dislocation of the markers. If the markers move along with the SID change, rework
the procedure 4.

・Remove the tube alignment jig. But leave the I.I. center jig attached or the center
marker of the FPD indicated as it is because it will be used in the positioning of
collimator rotation mount in the next step.

4 Disengage the gears of collimator rotation, and
rotate the jig to the clockwise end. Apply
fluoroscope and mark the position of the tube
alignment jig marker “X” on the monitor. (Put
transparent tape on the monitor and mark with a
pen.) Rotate the jig to the counterclockwise end
and mark the position of the marker “X” on the
monitor in the same way.

5 Loosen the jig fixing bolts and place the jig where the fluoroscoped image
of the marker “X” is at the center between two “X” marks, and then
fix the jig again. Confirm that the marker “X” does not move along with
rotating the jig. (The marker “●” is allowed to move.)

6 Loosen the fixing bolts of the collimator rotation unit. Apply

fluoroscope and seek the collimator rotation unit position where the
center marker of the I.I. center jig or FPD and the tube alignment jig
marker “X”, and the fix the collimator rotation unit overlap. (The
marker “●” is not needed to overlap.)

7 Confirm that the rotation center of the collimator rotation unit does
not move while rotating the collimator rotation unit.

8 Remove the tube alignment jig and jig mounting plate. But leave the I.I.
center jig attached or the center marker of the FPD indicated as it is
because it will be used in the positioning of collimator in the next step.
