MH-200S Assembly
This data is prepared based on the actual installation work in a certain facility.
The jigs and the materials shown in this data may not be provided in all facilities
and local sites. However, refer to this data as a sample case.
Before starting installation of MH-200S main body, install the cable holder for MH-200S
in the ceiling.
1. Preparation
At first, make preservation of the floor in the facility.
Mount the fixed rail assembly to the ceiling, then mount the moving rail and the carriage
+ L-arm in order.
Carriage + L-
L-arm
Carry all parts of the fixed rail assembly into the inspection room, and mount the fixed
rail to the beam on the ceiling.
First, attach the fixed rail fixtures of outer or inner side for each rails to the beam
on the ceiling. Mount the fin of the fixed rail onto the tab of each fixed rail fixtures,
then fix the fixed rail fixtures of another side to the beam on the ceiling tightly.

Adjust the anti-swing roller. Attach the limit switches and the position detection unit
of the ceiling longitudinal drive unit, and adjust the tension of position detection belt.
After inserting the carriage into the moving rail, remove the shipping wood frame and
fix the rail plate, the end bar and the lateral mechanical stopper to the moving rail.
Pass the timing belt through the ceiling lateral drive unit, and adjust the tension of
the belt.
As well, adjust the anti-swing roller of the carriage, and attach the lateral drive limit
switch unit and electromagnetic brake etc.
Attach the monitor support to the moving rail of MTA-40, then attach the information
display unit of MH-200S onto the monitor support.

It is recommended to turn on UD and MH and operate C-arm to CRAN/CAUD 0°, LAO 60°
position to make the correct cable wiring around C-arm, X-ray tube and FPD at this
stage.
For that, you need to complete installation of KS-70 and cable wiring of UD, DAR, MH
cabinet, cyber grip/ local console/ information display unit of MH and IVR NEO before
this stage.
As well, the temporary short circuit of FPD/ collimator front switch and grid detection
switch is necessary to operate C-arm main body movement.

Before adjusting X-ray beam alignment, complete the preparation for FPD system including
cooling unit HEC002 (FPD Cooler), Auto FVR mode calibration etc.
For carrying out the operation in this paragraph, it is required that the installation of
X-ray tube and FPD has been completed and the equipment is in the situation that fluoroscopy
has become ready. After completing the installation up to this step, carry out the following
adjustments.

・Move the tube alignment jig while applying fluoroscope and seek the point where
the two markers “●” and “X” of the tube alignment jig overlap each other, and
fix the tube alignment jig at the position. It is not necessary that the markers
are located at the center of the view field.
Adjust so that
these two markers
overlap.
In case of FPD
・Loosen the bolts that fix X-ray tube. While conducting fluoroscope in the minimum
FPD visual field and at maximum SID, swing the X-ray tube to the point where the marker
of I.I. center jig and the marker of tube alignment jig overlap. At this position,
fix X-ray tube.
・Move FPD backward and forward and change SID large and small to confirm that there
is no dislocation of the markers. If the markers move along with the SID change, rework
the procedure 4.
・Remove the tube alignment jig. But leave the I.I. center jig attached or the center
marker of the FPD indicated as it is because it will be used in the positioning of

rotating the jig. (The marker “●” is allowed to move.)
7. Confirm that the rotation center of the collimator rotation unit does
not move while rotating the collimator rotation unit.
8. Remove the tube alignment jig and jig mounting plate. But leave the I.I.
center jig attached or the center marker of the FPD indicated as it is
because it will be used in the positioning of collimator in the next step.
Attach the collimator mounting plate to the main body of the collimator F-50.
Take care that the location of the arrow marking labels on the collimator and
the mounting plate are not aligned. The label “HEAD SIDE” should be set to
the patient head side when mounting the collimator to C-arm.
After performing the cable wiring to the collimator and adjusting the alignment
of the collimator center with X-ray beam, attach collimator front switch and
perform wiring around X-ray tube and collimator finally.
The lids of each link of the cable duct can be opened by inserting a minus
screwdriver into the groove and twist. Make cable end come out from the duct
end of the collimator side. (A on the below picture.)

MH-300 Assembly
This data is prepared based on the actual installation work in a certain facility.
The jigs and the materials shown in this data may not be provided in all facilities
and local sites. However, refer to this data as a sample case.
1. Installation of base plate
plate (Floor construction)
MH-300 is installed onto the base plate, which is embedded in the floor. The base plate
should be installed in the floor before installation of MH-300 main body starts.
The total mass of the system is 1,100 kg including the base plate, and this mass is
applied on the floor area of 1.5×1.5m. (The effective load is 1.25 times of 1,100
kg.)
In order to assure safety and equipment performance, discuss directly and carefully
with the designer of the construction design office, and reinforce the floor if
necessary.
Cut out mortar on the floor surface with about 3 cm depth and 1.7×1.7m size as shown
in the figure below. Don’t cut out base concrete. After cutting out mortar, confirm
that the sufficient floor strength is assured. The levelness of the base plate should
be within 1/1000. Use epoxy resin to get the necessary levelness.
