1. Answer the following questions, make some research:

WHAT IS AXIOLOGY?
The axiology is a theory or a specialty of philosophy that is focused on the analysis of
values.

WHAT IS THE VALUE THEORY ABOUT?

First we must know what is meant by VALUE. A value is a quality that is part of a reality,
the objects and subjects are estimable according to the values they have.

WHAT IS THE RELATION BETWEEN AXIOLOGY AND DEONTOLOGY?

The axiology is responsible for studying the values, their nature, the judgments that
develop from them, it can be said that a value is a principle to establish a trial, that is
why the axiology is related to ethics.
Axiology. - branch of philosophy that deals with and focuses on the study of the nature
of values and judgments, is a formal system to identify and measure values.
Deontology. - focuses on the analysis of duties and rigid values by morals. It deals with
the space of freedom of man only subject to the responsibility imposed by his
conscience.
2. Write an essay about the relation between axiology and
Deontology.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AXIOLOGY AND DEONTOLOGY

INTRODUCTION
The branch of philosophy has these important issues to better understand the human
being's actions and are axiology and deontology, where the axiology has as object of
study the nature of the values of an individual and value judgments that you can perform
for it is very common and frequent that the axiology is called the "Theory of value".
Deontology has as object of study the fundamentals of moral duty and norms, refers to
an ordered set of duties and moral obligations that professionals have, deontology is
known as "Theory of duty" and next to axiology, is one of the two main branches of
normative ethics [1] [2].

DEVELOPMENT

The axiology comes from the Greek "Axis" which means "what is valuable or estimable"

and "Logos" which refers to science therefore refers to the study of values, it is also

considered that the values are hierarchical and have strength of recognition and

attraction, specifically studies how people determine the value of things, the values

oriented to the specific actions carried out by people in the various spaces. The value is

all well locked in things, discovered with intelligence, desired and wanted by my will.

The values dignify and accompany the existence of any human being.

The deontology comes from the Greek "Deontos" which means "duty or obligation" and

"Lodge" which means "study", then the deontology focuses on the analysis of duties and

values governed by morality. Deontology is part of what is known as normative ethics,

which is a kind of manual that compiles the moral obligations that must be respected by

those who exercise a job, always keeping in mind that deontology analyzes the internal
duties of the individual, that is, what you should do or avoid according to what your

conscience dictates [3] [4].

Deontology is related to axiology since both are part of normative ethics and it deals

with the space of man's freedom, always considering that he is subject to the

responsibility imposed by his conscience. It is considered that the basis of deontology

must support the philosophical principles of freedom, which means that acts are good

or bad of men is explained in terms of the welfare that can be provided to society. Then

we can conclude that the relationship that exists in the axiology and deontology is the

set of duties and moral obligations that professionals have considering the values that

this has either objective or subjective [3] [4].

CONCLUSION
Analyzing thoroughly the meaning of the word axiology and deontology, with their
respective concepts of study we can conclude that the axiology is about the study of
values and whether they are good or bad, objective or subjective and from there the
relationship with deontology is born. It is responsible for the study of duty, and will
always be linked to the values that the human being has and the way in which he applies
it in society.
