A BRIEF HISTORY
Iloilo SDA Elementary School started in 1947 with one-room building. Miss Lily Alvarez
was the teacher. It was a multigrade class from Grades I-IV with 20 pupils. The site was at
Delgado Street Iloilo City.
It was the desire of every Seventh-day Adventist parent to provide Christian Education
to their children and so they moved with faith, until the officers of West Visayan Mission (now
West Visayan Conference) found an area, which was an ideal place for the Mission
Headquarter, a church and a school. It is where the school is located at present.
