ABSTRACT

Title: Improvised Portable Powerbank for Laptops

The objectives of the study was; to develop and investigate the use of Portable Powerbank
for Laptops; its level of acceptability in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency,
usability, security, reliability, maintainability; and significant difference among the groups of
respondents.
Developmental and inferential method of research was employed in the study. The study
used a structured questionnaire answered by 60 respondents from the IT Students, Non IT Students
and Faculty. The device was developed and presented to the respondents for the test of level of
acceptability. Aside from the laptop, the portable powerbank it is also can charge other gadgets
like cellphone and tablet and it can make fully charge of 3 laptops and 20 cellphones. The study
was statistically treated using weighted mean and F-Test.
The findings and conclusion of the study were: the level of acceptability of the device was
highly acceptable in term functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, security,
reliability and maintainability; there is no significant difference on the level of acceptability of
Improvised Portable Powerbank for Laptops among the three groups of respondents.
The researchers recommended that the device must be change of each label of the power
bank by using photoshop.
