buildings, and technical facilities. The online double-conversion topology supplies true isolation between
input and output with zero transfer time. Available with integrated batteries or external batteries with
robust charger, the UPS includes an internal mechanical bypass and simplified parallel capability for
higher levels of availability. Remote and local monitoring/management capability is achieved through a
built-in communication card with a simple Web/SNMP interface and a user-friendly display available in
18 languages. Both 3:3- and 3:1-phase configurations are available for convenient power distribution.
Serviceability is greatly enhanced by front access for ease of maintenance in confined spaces. The
Galaxy 300 has been ruggedized with conformance-coated boards and dust filter to better withstand
harsh environments. All of these features, along with the included start-up and on-site warranty, make the
Galaxy 300 the easiest UPS in its class to install, manage, and maintain.

Notes.
1. Rated currents with battery float charging.
2. At <150% for 10seconds.
3. Input and bypass cables must be run in separate conduits from output cables. Not more than three conductors in raceway assumed; ambient temperature of 30°C (86°F) assumed.
4. If initial load is less than UPS' rated output, it is recommended that AC input, battery, and AC output wiring and over current protection be sized to UPS’ full load rating to accommodate possible future expansion.
5. Only copper cables are considered.
6. DC cables should be sized for a total maximum of less than 1% of CB rating.
7. OCPD = Over current Protection Device. Recommended represents 125% of nominal full load current (continuous).
8. Minimum-sized grounding conductors are recommended. Parity-sized ground conductors are recommended. Neutral conductors to be sized for full capacity.
9. Wiring requirements:
- AC Input/Output: 3Ø, 3 or 4 wire + ground, depending on UPS configuration.
See Installation Manual and submittal drawings for specific instructions.
- DC Input: 2 wire (positive and negative) + ground
10. All wiring to be in accordance with all applicable national and/or local electrical codes.
11. Minimum access clearance per UPS drawings.
12. The cable sizes are based on an environment with ambient max temperature of 35 degrees C.
13. Control wiring and power wiring must be run in separate conduit.
14. Weights and dimensions shown do not include battery cabinet(s) or other options
15. Backup emergency generator must be properly sized for UPS application and equipped with an isochronous governor for frequency regulation, and a UPS-compatible voltage regulator for voltage stability.
16. If site configuration requires an external maintenance bypass, phase parity between UPS input and UPS bypass must be ensured. Consult applications engineer.
17. The terminals have minimum size requirements for cables.
18. Each PFC or Boost pack contains a 63A fuse per phase. 10-20kVA Ups has one pack and 30-40kVA UPS have two packs.
19. Average weight references installed weight with batteries.
20. Temperature rating of conductors: 90°C (194°F). 75°C (167°F) cable terminal conductors assumed.
21. Input : THDI < 3% at full load, <5% at 25-75%.
22.Output : THDU 1% Phase to Phase, 1.5% Phase to Neutral for Linear Loads.
2% Phase to Phase, 3.5% Phase to Neutral for Non Linear Loads.
23.Heat losses refers to maximum loading and fully charged batteries
24.Ratings of the cables and overcurrent devices supplied for information only. User to consult with their engineering services before adopting
25. Applicable for IEC countries except Asia Pacific countries and Japan.
26. Applicable for Asia Pacific countries and Japan.

Notes.

Symmetra PX
Scalable from 16 kW to 500 kW. Parallel-capable up to 2,000 kW.
High performance, right-sized, modular, scalable, three-phase
power protection with ultra-high availability and efficiency for
any size data center or high density power zone
The APC Symmetra™ PX UPSs are world-class, redundant, scalable, high-efficiency power protection
systems designed to cost effectively provide high levels of availability. Seamlessly integrating into today’s
state-of-the-art data center designs, the Symmetra PX UPSs are true modular systems. The Symmetra
PX UPS is built from swappable modules - power, battery, intelligence, and bypass - all engineered into a
design that is easily and efficiently serviceable. This architecture can scale power and runtime as demand
grows or as higher levels of availability are required.
The Symmetra PX family serves as the core power train that drives APC InfraStruxure™ systems for small,
medium, and large data centers. Highly manageable, each Symmetra PX offer features self-diagnostic
capabilities and standardized modules which mitigate the risk of human error, resulting in increased
overall data center reliability. Optional N+1 module-level redundancy further enhances power protection
and peace of mind without increasing the footprint of your power protection solution.
The Symmetra PX family delivers high availability, extreme agility, and low TCO in an aesthetic form factor.
With industry-leading power density, the Symmetra PX has the ability to fit seamlessly onto the data
center floor or into the back room. Other features include automated predictive diagnostics and advanced
battery management which lead to a highly predictable, efficient, and simplified UPS architecture.
