FOREWORD
PT. Insurindo Inter Services (here in after referred to as Insurindo )
is an independent survey company. This company was established
in 1987. Our objectives are to fulfill the needs of professional
surveying services required from business industries of Palm Oil
and its derivatives. This is the reason why Insurindo is having its
head office in Medan, Northern Sumatera due to the concentration
of the palm plantation whereabouts. We are also the first surveying
company in Indonesia to become a member of FOSFA (Federation
of Oils, Seeds and Fats Association, London)

Due to the growing of the industrial and trade, and overloaded

needs/ demands from producers/ consumers not only nationwide
but has going overseas for related services, Insurindo has
expanded its services which include: Loading/Unloading
Supervision (Bulk & Liquid), Condition Survey, Supervision of
Containerized loading, Sampling, Marine Survey, Fumigation, Pest
Control, Calibration Services, Analytical & Testing Laboratories,
Recognized Security Organization (ISPS Code), etc.

1. LIQUID CARGO Supervision of Loading/ Unloading

Loading Port :
>> Check/ inspection of ship before Loading
>> Check on ship tanks to comply the contract specification (FOSFA
Contract) for cleanliness of ship tanks before loading (previous
cargo).
>> Controlling & supervision of shore activities during loading
>> Controlling & supervision of ships activities during loading
>> Gauging/ sounding the ships tank and shore tank after completing
the loading.
>> Sampling for analysis purposes according to contract and
specification required by the clients.
>> Conducting preventive measures needed to reduce shortage as
specified in contract during loading and sealing accordingly.

Discharging Port :
>> Checking seal & gauging quantity on board before discharge.

>> Sampling for analysis purposes as specified in clients contract.

>> Controlling & supervision of shore situation before, during and

after discharging completion.

>> Discharging supervision to ensure outturn quantity.

2. BULK CARGO Supervision of Loading/ Unloading
Loading Port :

>> Checking all hatches to assure the cleanliness & dryness before loading cargo as
written in contract from clients.
>> Inspecting measure scale port equipments for accuracy

>> Supervision of measure scale on shore to assure the accuracy of the

measurement.

>> Supervision of total loaded cargo.

>> Checking/ supervision of cargo loading to the ship and supervision of related
paper work.

>> Sampling for analysis purposes as written in contract and as requested by the
client.

>> Supervision of activities on board during loading.

>> Gauging quantity onboard before and after loading by conducting draught
survey
>> Conducting preventive measures needed to assure no shortage above the
tolerance level or as written in contract during loading and sealing accordingly.

11. RECOGNIZED SECURITY ORGANISATION (RSO)

According to Guidance Part B ISPS Code and Appendix of IMO

Circular MSC/Circ. 1074, Insurindo is appointed by the Contracting
Government as a Recognized Security Organization (Ship/Port)
which authorized us to undertake certain security related activities,
including:

>> Approval of Ship Security Plans, or amendments thereto, on behalf

of the Administer.
>> Verification and certification of compliance of ships with the
requirements of chapter XI-2 and part A of ISPS Code on behalf of
the administer.
>> Conducting the Port Facility Security Assessment required by the
Contracting Government.
