Abstract

Today, many colleges and universities still use automated system in daily life. But

there are so many schools are still using manual system. Grading System is the most

commonly used in computing and analyzing the performance, talents and skills of the

students. It is the important record to keep even for the longest time for the referral and

credentials of the student to enter their next level of attaining their goals. Grading System

for Data Accuracy will help a lot in the part of teachers, school, administration and as well

as the security of data of students.

The proponents attempt to develop a Grading System that may eliminate the word

“manual”

Statement of the Problem

The proponents aim to develop a Computerized Grading System for SHS

Students. Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following:

1. How Computer-based Grading System done at the ABE International Business

College Lucena Campus?

2. What are the problems encountered by the students and teachers in the current

Grading System?

3. What design of a Computer-Based Grading System may be proposed?

4. What are the chances that a Computer-Based Grading System may be

implemented?

Answer to the given statement:

1. A computerized grading system is a highly desirable addition to the educational

tool-kit, particularly when it can provide less effort and a more effective and timelier

outcome. Grading systems are designed to provide incentives for achievement and

assist in identifying problem areas of a student.

2. The automatic grading system, the students receive ... Broad Reach Extended is

different from many existing assessment systems in that it is designed ... The

connection data may help the instructor identify the students who fall

3. Automated grading system was developed that allows instructors to quickly grade

multiple complex computer literacy assignments. Key to the success of the system

is the ability of the system to “learn” the correct and incorrect responses and store

them for future use.

4. This research reports the development and implementation of an adaptive grading

system with the goal to expedite and improve the feedback provided to students

for their personal productivity. This research builds upon previous knowledge from

the cognitive, behavioral, and resource-based views of learning as well as the

establishment of the appropriate grading rubrics.

Scope and Limitation

This system has a file maintenance that can view subjects, search grades,

compute, and also it can add, edit, search grades, compute, and also it can add, edit,

delete and update of the student’s records. The instructor can only access the file

maintenance of the students.

The proposed system cannot access the system to other programming language.

It is not online based system.

The Computerized Grading System offers more than just a class card function,

encoding of students’ personal data and issuance of summary grading sheets which

include the grades of the students. The system will lessen the work especially of those

within the instructors because the grades will be stored directly into a database. Users

from the department would be able to access

matter. The computerized world is highly efficient one, which processing the big

quantities of data and keeping. Computer can be considered as another instrument for
developing a system like grading system in every school. This can be a great help to

those teachers who are handling many tasks from providing easier and faster access.

Through the advancement of Education System in the Philippines and the application of

K-12 system in public and private schools, the systems of grading and recording…

Case Study: Student Grading System

Student Grading System is required, in which Lecturer can ask the system about

grade they obtain for certain course, courses that they take for that semester,

A. Use Case:

1. Get Grade: Lecturer can check or view their student grade for the courses that

take in this Get Grade / Load option.

2. Add Students: Lecturer can add a student

3. Update / Edit: Lecturer can change the student grade due to a mistake or

negligence

4. Evaluate Grade: Lecturer can immediately know if the student Pass or Failed in

the use of American Standard Formula

B. Flow Chart Diagram:

In the Flow Chart Diagram Show a picture of the steps in a process which

represents the order and interaction of activities and decisions. The sequence, or flow, of

the process is shown with arrows, while a variety of shapes or symbols used to depict the

steps and decisions in the SHS Grading System.
