Project Name: Meta Data Harvesting For Digital Libraries

Now days, we see digital libraries coming into existence. Inter operability is the major
problem that these digital libraries are facing with. Inter operability can be defined as
transferring of digital content between repositories (digital libraries). So, we as a team of three
members developed a piece of software which helps in solving this inter operability problem.
We used a new protocol named OAI-PMH to develop this software.

Project Name: An Add-on to Nutch Search Engine

Nutch is a popular open source search engine. For this search engine, we as a team of 3
members developed an extra add on and the functionality of this add on is, whenever a user enters
search key words in search box and hits enter, then all the ads that are relevant to those search key
words will be displayed along with the search results.

Project Name: The Hindu Information System

Develop a search engine for the Hindu website. Crawler crawls the web sites and stores
the data in a file. An interface is provided to the user where user can give his search query and
the search engine searches for that query in the stored data and then displays results. Also
provided with advanced search options like AND, OR for searching. This project is entirely
developed in java

Project Name: Web based Snakes and Ladders game

Develop a game website which provides an interface to users to register for the game,
to create and play the game. This is an on line multi user game. Number of players is restricted
to maximum of 4.

Project Name: Natural Language Interface for Data Base

As a part of our curriculum, I developed a natural language interface to a data base
where a user can query in natural language. The query in natural language will be parsed and
will be converted into a SQL statement and then the results for that Sql query will be displayed
to the user.
