BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance consists of subjects that help improve communication skills through numerous presentations, and
work-based learning exposes students to actual working environment. I’ve become a skilful, knowledgeable and experienced gradu-
ate through it.

The Foundation in Arts is an exclusive pre-university programme at Sunway University College. It is an ideal
programme to prepare post-secondary school students to go directly into Sunway’s own undergraduate
programmes which are validated by Lancaster University, UK.
This foundation programme emphasises the development of well-rounded students in both numerical and
communication skills through structured subjects in Mathematics and English throughout every semester.
In order to have a good basic grasp of the academic rigour of undergraduate life, a range of electives is available
from business subjects to computing, from finance to psychology. Enrichment electives such as Culture and
Ideas, Culture and Performance, and Critical Thinking Skills, are avenues for students to explore ideas beyond their
academic courses and develop into independent thinkers.

Each student is assigned an Advisor who will provide academic guidance
and monitor the student’s progress. A progress report will be sent every January, March, July
semester to the parents/guardian to ensure that they are up-to-date with

The Entrance Scholarship is offered to all new students; SPM leavers entering into
Tan Sri Dato’ Pre-University programmes and Pre-University graduates entering into undergraduate
Seri Dr. Jeffrey programmes, in recognition of their excellent academic achievements prior to admission into a
Cheah Entrance new programme in Sunway University College.
Scholarship
& Continuing The Continuing Scholarship is only offered to students continuing their studies (at diploma
Scholarship or undergraduate level) with Sunway University College upon graduating from their Pre-
University/Foundation/Diploma Programmes here with us or from Sunway Group of Colleges.
The Scholarship is offered in the name of Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah, Foundation
Chancellor of Sunway University College, and Sir Chris Bonington, Chancellor of Lancaster
University. It commemorates the affiliation between Sunway University College and
Lancaster University in Joint Degree Programmes in Business, Computer Technology, The Chancellors
Hospitality and Psychology. Scholarship
Applicants are required to achieve outstanding academic results for entry into the BSc (Hons) of Sunway

For your studying pleasure, the Main Campus building is fitted with 24-
hour wireless internet (Wi-Fi) access, so you can study anywhere from the
foyer to the Roof Top Garden. This is complemented by top-notch learning
