I am Niranjan Tanpure from V14BE7 batch.I got placed in Methode Electronics

India pvt. Ltd and Dexcel Elecronics design pvt ltd.I have chosen Methode
Electronics,Bangalore .

Written:

Aptitude :10 questions 15 mins (Percentage,work done ,Age and number system)

Technical :Based on C and 8051 - 25 questions 45 min (Many questions are objective)

Some questions: Write a simple ASM and Embedded C code ,Nibble swapping program, C
program outputs - Many based on control statements ,operators, Array and pointer.

Technical 1:

� Introduction.

� Why we use C language (features of c language.)

� How to access data from mem. location 0x1000 using pointer.(write simple
C code)

� Write and explain compilation stages.

� What is difference if I wrote int main() instead of void main().and where

it will return that value?How we can see that value?

� Many questions on Aptitude Question paper (Technical section).

� Write a macro for toggle bit. And basic theory questions from c and
8051.
Technical 2:

� Introduction.

� Storage classes in c and describe each in depth.

� Why we prefer static instead of auto in some application .what is adv of

static?

� It is possible to store 8 byte char array into double? how?

� Finding second largest w/o sorting from array?

� What is use of header files ?If I not include what happen? Can we run w/o
library header file?

� Questions on interrupt and timer.

� Many questions based on UART,I2c and SPI.

HR:

� Tell me about yourself?

� Why u came from Pune to Bangalore ?

� About family and academic details.

� If I give u chance to change any two situations in your life what is

that?

d.Micro controller basics

� What is Diff. between initialization,Definition ,Declaration ?

� Write a program to generate 1 ms delay- 2 ways

� Merge 2 array using only one variable and optimize code.

� Questions on -Memory organization �Stack,Heap,Code,Data.

� Mainly Questions on communication protocol : i2c,spi,uart.

� Question based on academic projects?

� Write a Embedded c program to initialize UART for 8051.
