I believe there is probable cause to charge the defendant with these charges because:
On 03/21/19 a 911 call was received and officers responded to find a male with multiple stab wounds and was
pronounced dead on scene. The a/p stated on the 911 call that he had stabbed his landlord. The a/p was
transported to a hospital where he was treated and later released for his injuries. Detectives responded to the
hospital to interview the a/p. The a/p invoked his rights and asked for an attorney. The a/p then spontaneously
stated it was self defense. Based on the evidence collected from the crime scene detectives have reason to
believe the a/p was the aggressor in this deadly confrontation.

I believe these to be additional condition(s) for continued detention:

The person would constitute a substantial danger to any other person or to the community, or is likely to flee the
jurisdiction of the court
Homicide charge.
