372 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week.
“When you look at the crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you.
When you look at the Sacred Host, you understand how much Jesus loves you now.
Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If
you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist, come back to Adoration.”
(Mother Teresa) We have a new adorer: Dan D’Aurelio, thank you and may God bless
you always! Call for our hour with the Bread of Life. Joie 330-745-6852 or Mary Jane

Second Sunday of Lent

In the Transfiguration, Jesus changed His appearance front of the apostles and then a
mysterious cloud came over them. The apostles “were terrified as they entered the
cloud.” Every one of us is a constantly-unfolding mystery. When we enter into a
relationship with another, we can expect change and we should expect it to be
unsettling, for it might require us also to change.

“With infinite mercy, He forgives all of our sins as soon as we show the smallest
sign of repentance.” (Pope Francis) The Sacrament of Reconciliation offers to us
the healing grace of God in restored relationship: not only our individual
relationships with friends and family, but our relationship with God and with the
Catholic Church. All are asked to join us for “An Evening of Confession,” March
20, from 5-8pm. Fr. David and Fr. Bill will be available during this time of
individual confessions. We particularly invite anyone who may have wandered
from the Catholic Church to come home this Lent, through Sacramental Reconciliation. For
more information, go to: www.welcomecatholic.com.
The Women of Faith thanks everyone in our parish and local community for their
support of our successful Shrove Tuesday Card Party. It was a fun evening made
possible by the hard work and involvement of a variety of people. Soooooo, if you
bought a ticket, donated a basket, gift card or money, cooked or served the food,
created the centerpieces and table prizes, gave door prizes, set up or cleaned up,
baked or bought a cake, pie or strudel, sold raffle tickets or solicited prizes, attended
yourself and invited others, helped decorate, made dozens of trips to your car to load and unload
and prayed for our success, THANK YOU SO MUCH! As you can see, many hands are required – you
may want to get involved yourself next year! FYI – Shrove Tuesday is on February 25, 2020! We
would love to have you join us.

Bishop Robert Barron’s “The Mass” hosted by Deacon Robin Adair will be on Wednesday,

the Liturgy and be transformed through insights on this most privileged and intimate encounter
with our Lord. “The Mass” will help you understand how to fully, consciously, and actively
participate in the source and summit of Christian Life. Consider making this part of your Lenten
journey. For questions, contact Deacon Adair at 330-283-4983.

As we ponder the vehement advances of the proponents of the CULTURE OF DEATH, we MUST respond
with even greater passion, as we reflect on OUR LORD'S PASSION, when He admonished the Women of
Jerusalem, saying, "Weep not for me, but for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days
are coming, in which they will they will say, Blessed are the barren..."Let us resolve to PAVE the way to
life...Pray/Act/Vote/Educate. Join in building a new Culture of Life, our next meeting will be
held Tuesday April 2, following the 5:15 Mass and benediction. contact Lynn Willig @(330) 472-9452 for
