Abstrak: He reading of modern Islamic political thought based on ijtihad reform figures will be
able to lay down the historical foundation and critical reading of current political
conditions. Through the study of the thoughts of several figures, Islamic political
thought in modern times tends to be dominated by the symptoms of fundamentalism.
However, after the scholars developed several aspects of the study of modern Islamic
