Experience: Sequoyah High School: Full Time Spanish Teacher – August 2016-Present
Plan and teach lessons for AP Spanish Language and Culture and Spanish II. Collaborate with
other Spanish II teachers to create units of study and performance-based unit tests, collaborate
with other AP Spanish Language and Culture teachers across the county, participate in vertical
planning, receive the highest AP Spanish Language and Culture exam score average in the
county for the 2017-2018 school year, sponsor Spanish National Honor Society.

Plan and teach lessons for Spanish II and V, for regular and gifted students. Create Integrated
Performance Assessments for the Spanish II curriculum group, create the pacing calendar for

Spanish club, co-sponsor Spanish National Honor Society, plan and chaperone the school’s trip

Plan and teach lessons for Spanish I, II and AP classes including College Prep, Honors, and
Gifted students. Collaborate with the department on topics such as common assessments, Middle
Years Program units and lessons, remediation techniques, and differentiation. Attend
professional development on techniques for self-assessment and differentiation.
