WARNING TAGS AND DECAL
LOCATIONS
WARNING
All warning tags and decals must be visible and
readable to the operator when the engine is run-
ning. Make sure all warning tags and decals
remain legible and attached. Likewise, all warning
tags and decals removed during any repair work
must be replaced in their original position before
the engine is placed back into service. Old or
badly worn decals and tags should also be
replaced. Failure to properly replace these impor-
tant tags and decals can result in serious personal
injury or death.

NOTE: The decals and tags shown in this manual are
for the current production engine. Your engine may
have the previous tags or decals, which are not
shown. The previous tags, although they look
different, will contain similar wording and will be
located very close to the position of the new tags.
The warning labels on the VGF F18/H24G/GSID/
GL/GLD engine have specific placement, and must be
replaced if they are defaced or removed for any rea-
son. Table 1.00-1 describes where each label is
located. Figure 1.00-1 and Figure 1.00-2 show the
exact location of each label.
