INFECTION Is the lodgment and multiplication of organism in the tissue of host.
INCUBATION Time from entrance of pathogen into the body to appearance of first symptoms; during this
time pathogens grow and multiply.
PRODROME Time from onset of nonspecific symptoms such as fever, malaise, and fatigue to move
specific symptoms
ILLNESS Time during which child demonstrates signs and symptoms specific to an infection type.
CONVALESCENCE Time when acute symptoms of illness disappear.

A. Motivation:
 The teacher will show a picture scenario to the students and let the students to
reflect what is the picture scenario is all about?

 The teacher will group the students into four and let each group to arrange the
cutout strips of stages of infection in a chronological order for 5min. into the
construction paper.
