380 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. We
would like to partner the hour 7-8pm on both Wednesday and Friday. “In
humble signs of bread and wine, changed into His body and blood, Christ
walks beside us as our strength and our food for the journey, and He enables
us to become, for everyone, witnesses of hope.” (Pope St John Paul II)
Second Sunday of Ordinary Time
Today’s gospel recounts the story of the wedding feast at Cana. Christ was merciful and
generous to the couple in need. Indeed, Christ is present in every marriage covenant, to bring
hope and to take what is good and make it better. This is a fitting time for families to celebrate
the marriages of their members, to honor their commitment and Christ’s generous presence in
their lives.

There is a basket in the vestibule of the church by the stairs with items that have been
left in the church. Please take a moment to go through them and see if something is
yours. It would be gratefully appreciated.
