Florida running back Dominic Rhodes vs. Sacramento linebacker Dontarrious Thomas.
Thomas had a team-high 8.5 tackles on Friday against Las Vegas and had 4.5 tackles, a sack and an interception
in the first meeting against the Tuskers this season. Rhodes has heated up of late, and has 222 yards and four
touchdowns on the ground this season.

NEW ADDITIONS TO THE MOUNTAIN LIONS

Sacramento added two new players this week while cutting defensive back Marcus Ezeff and placing defensive
back Robert Bourne on injured reserve. Sacramento also brought back offensive lineman Michael Tepper and
placed offensive lineman Kevin Myers on injured reserve. Bourne broke his left leg during Friday night’s 26-3 loss
to visiting Las Vegas. The Mountain Lions have brought in two defensive backs with recent NFL experience in
Lendy Holmes and Marcus McCauley. McCauley is a local product from Sacramento, a graduate of Cordova High
School. He joined the NFL in 2007, playing in all 16 games for the Minnesota Vikings and starting in nine of them.
He played in 10 games for the Vikings in 2008 before spending time with four NFL organizations in 2009 (Detroit
Lions, Tampa Bay Bucs, New Orleans Saints and the Washington Redskins). Holmes played in eight games as a
rookie for the Washington Redskins in 2009. He was waived by Washington on Aug. 31 of 2010.

CULPEPPER LOOKING FOR BOUNCE-BACK GAME

Sacramento quarterback Daunte Culpepper is coming off a tough game, in which he had five turnovers (four
interceptions, one fumble) in a 26-3 loss to visiting Las Vegas. He now gets another shot at Florida, whom he
torched for a league-record 374 yards (26-42, three touchdowns, one interception) during a 24-20 victory in
Sacramento on Sept. 25. Culpepper has completed 93-of-160 passes for 970 yards, six touchdowns and six
interceptions through the first four games.

ROSS COMING OFF HIS BEST GAME OF SEASON

Sacramento running back Cory Ross, the UFL’s leading rusher a year ago, put up big numbers in Friday’s 26-3
loss to visiting Las Vegas. He set a UFL record with 10 receptions (for 82 yards) and had his best rushing game of
the season (15 carries, 71 yards). Ross leads the UFL with 27 receptions (210 yards) and he has carried the ball
55 times for 154 yards overall this season. He rushed for 462 yards on 117 carries a year ago in a six-game
season. Each UFL team will play eight games this season.
