1. How would you describe...

a) Carter?

He is a very demanding person in his training and his goal is to train people not
only players but also wants a group of friends who help each other on and off
the court.

b) The basketball players?

They are a group of people who have different problems and have an arrogant,
irresponsible and rude attitude however their coach is responsible for turning
them into good people, educated and goals for their life.

c) Their neighbourhood?

It is a neighborhood that has many problems of security, drug sales and other
social problems and in a way that also affects the people who live there.

2. Why did Carter cancel the Fremont basketball


game ¿ Do you agree with this decision? (why/why
not?)
He cancels the Fremont basketball game because his players signed a contract
by which they agree to be respectful and educated with the coach and get good
grades in the class but the coach of the account that his players do not approve
various subjects so Decides to stop training, until they get good grades, but it
was the best decision to understand that the coach wanted the best for them
and a university career may be the best way to get ahead.

3. Would you like to have a coach like Carter?


(why/why not?) How is he different from the coaches
you´ve had?
Any player has to have confidence in his coach and he is the person who knows
more about the strengths and weaknesses of the team. However, the role of
coach Carter greatly exceeds the field of sports and that implies that his players
achieve good academic results to be able to have a suitable professional future.
